The view from the room was absolutely amazing. The WiFi was ok, just keep in mind this is an eco hotel so the water is not hot, the toilets are compost besides the check in area, no air conditioning etc but our stay was amazing and well worth it. I recommend an SUV to get to the property (we brought ours on the ferry)

. While the property is beautiful, our experience raised serious concerns. Prior to arrival, we clearly informed Totoco Lodge that our son has a severe peanut allergy. Despite this, a meal was served with peanuts without our knowledge, causing an anaphylactic reaction that required an EpiPen. Given the remote location, medical care was over an hour away. We were also disappointed that the meal was not removed from our bill after the incident. Guests should also know that this is more of an eco-lodge/camping experience than a resort. Toiletries are not provided, so come prepared. The Wednesday “Dinner Under the Sky” event was also very expensive and, in our opinion, not worth the cost

Totoco ecco resort has a magnificent view of the conception volcano which was the best part of our stay. You can also watch the breathtaking sunset while enjoying drink. The staff is exceptional. A few things to keep on mind. The resort is on a steep hill and requires transportation that can go up rough terrain. Also it would be wise to bring a flashlight as there is no lights when walking path to your cottage. Also be aware of insects infestations like ants, and creepy crawlers. This is to be expected in a ecco resort and the staff is very helpful if you do experience issues with insects. There is also a staff member that keeps a night watch. We also enjoyed the location, you can order a taxi to drop you at the amazing chocolate paradise (we recommend) and ojo de agua. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This place is incredible. The staff is amazing. The view is to die for and the rooms are so cozy. You have to spend extra time here to take advantage of their donation based activities. We did a sound bath and it changed my life.

Fantastic hotel with great staff and views.

We had a fantastic two day stay at Totoco. The staff were amazingly attentive and the room was superb. This is a great spot to relax in and marvel at the view of Concepcion. The only thing to note is how far the hotel is from activities and we would recommend renting a scooter or car while here.

Loved the location, and view. Food was good and bad. Great steak, and cappuccino. But you have to pay extra to get bacon for breakfast. The washrooms were huge, great outdoor shower with hot water, but the composte toilets were baducally an outhouse toilet. Staff werecamazing.
