I booked a studio for my son and his two friends, for two nights, because it had two beds and a sofa. However, when my son arrived and tried to check in, the front desk person was either high, or drunk, or both. My son then told me that they gave their room to someone else, despite me paying for two nights. They waited about an hour with no room. Eventually, the night shift front desk person (he started at 11.00pm) moved a sofa from a different room to my son's new room, so they have a proper room. So, the check in was about 1h30min. Next day, when my son came back to the room, he discovered that the keys do not work. He went to the front desk and waited for about 50 minutes, but nobody was there. I called the customer support and I was told that they can accommodate my son and friends into a different property. I then told me that my son has his meds in the room and if they don't solve the problem, I will call the police for a wellness check. My son already waited at the front desk for an hour now. Eventually, the drunk front desk person from the day before showed up and gave my son a new key. The property is listed as Studio 6 Extended Stay Philadelphia Malvern, but the bill (and contact phone number) is from Switzerland. When I searched for a customer service for this place, I realized that it is Motel 6. I looked at their online reviews and realized that all their reviews (21 total) have 10/10. Most of them in German. I think that all are fake. What a disgrace.
