We welcome you to stay in Swift Cottage, our charming one-bedroom home tucked away in the heart of historic Malmesbury, offering a cosy and welcoming retreat for couples or solo travellers.

Thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation, the cottage features a comfortable double bedroom, a well-equipped living space, and everything you need for a peaceful stay, whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or a longer escape.

Step outside and you’ll find yourself immersed in the character and history of one of England’s oldest towns. Malmesbury is known for its picturesque streets, beautiful stone buildings, and the stunning Malmesbury Abbey, which is just a short stroll away. The town offers a selection of independent shops, cafés, and traditional pubs where you can enjoy local food and a warm Wiltshire welcome.

The surrounding area is perfect for exploring, with the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds right on your doorstep. Scenic walks, charming villages, and nearby attractions such as Tetbury and the Westonbirt Arboretum make this an ideal base for discovering the beauty of the region. Please note, we have a Ring camera located in the lounge window, facing the road and the front door, covering the property`s entrance for security purposes. No audio is recorded and guest`s privacy is maintained at all times.

**Important: To help protect our homes and guests, we may require the lead guest named on the booking to complete an independent ID verification process prior to arrival. It’s nice and easy, taking less than 5 minutes to complete. Please note this MUST be completed by the named booker. If completed by someone else, we will request for the verification to be resubmitted. Failure to complete this process correctly may result in the cancellation of the booking.

Please note: We verify your details before your booking can begin and this must be completed 48 hours prior to your stay. You’ll receive a secure link to our deposit, damage waiver and ID verification platform to complete this step. You’ll be given the choice between paying a fully refundable £300 deposit (with a small, non-refundable £5.00 fee to cover payment processing fees) or purchasing a non-refundable £30 damage waiver, which protects you against accidental damage up to £300 during your stay. Check-in information will only be sent once this is completed.**
