Overall, our stay was quite pleasant! The cabin has had a lovely renovation, and the location on the water was peaceful. There were a few factors that combined to make this a four-star stay rather than a five-star one, unfortunately. The mini-split air conditioners in the living room and bedroom didn’t do quite enough to cool the cabin down; it wasn’t horrible because it was October but would have been very uncomfortable during the summer. Additionally, our first night there, the outside string lights on the back porch came on around midnight, flooding the bedroom with light. There were no ice trays and no microwave in the cabin, which was pretty inconvenient. I also tried to contact the host about accessing the WiFi—the instructions said no password was required but there was a password block in the room. It is possible that calling rather than texting would have gotten a response, but I never got that resolved. Again, not the end of the world, but just a few things that could have been better. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend, and the sunrises and sunsets over the water were beautiful!
