Quiet, peaceful, restful, private, beautiful, relaxing, invigorating, clean, comfortable, inviting. There is nothing we did not like about this place. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Love, love, love it!!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Location is definitely the highlight. Steps down to deck and ocean shore very steep. We didn’t have any problems, but for some it might be. We are a family of cooks, and we found the kitchen and utensils/pots and pans to be adequate and what we expected. We spent our day hiking in the area, but enjoying coming back to your home in time to make dinner

Pre- Labor Day vacation

The property was great, close to everything & super quiet! Loved the sunroom - used it everyday. Dustin was fantastic. Would love to come again! Didn't get to Canada, but there was much to explore in ME. Big secret is Roque Bluffs Beach! Must keep it a secret! Thanks for a restful vacation!

Clean and comfortable

My family of 8 (4 adults, 2 teens, and 10 year old and a 6 year old) had a very relaxing and pleasant stay. The house was immaculate in its cleanliness and comfort for us all. The screened in porch was perfect for us all to sit and relax in at the same time. The observation deck over the water was a serene heaven. We would happily stay here again.

Deceptive

Unexpected situations : Construction started on wilderness lot adjacent to “exquisite” rental : bulldozer , land clearing, tree removal , RV arrived and parked there - bath tub did not hold water ;steep cliff so no beach - - deceptive. . A very rude property manager - had to leave a day early for a funeral at 6am - yet was told “strip those beds ;put in a load of laundry or lose a deposit of $500 Just two of us but we did it - would never return . Cost a lot ! - Asked why not told about lot clearing next to us in this remote wooded area ! Answer - “ Maybe No one knew construction would start ! Just hung up - uncaring - rough Good Luck .

Fantastic stay at Ocean Point

We loved our stay here. The house is lovely and very clean. Even with foggy, cloudy days the setting was so peaceful and beautiful. The house was well stocked with plenty of everything we needed. A highlight was using the lobster cooker to have a feast with lobster from right up the road. Great communication too. Would love to stay again!

We had a great time at the property. Exactly as described (if not better!). Enjoyed everything, especially the views and wildlife. (Deer, porcupine, turtles, seals..) Would not hesitate to return. Thanks for a great week!

Ocean point review

Property was great. View was great as well, although the trees along the shore blocked the view from the top floor. Deer on the shore slope almost every afternoon and evening. Wouldn't be a great place for smaller children outside. Road to the cottage was rough in places. We would return.

Remote getaway

Enjoyed the privacy of the location and views from the house and deck on the cove. Nice cookware to work with (thanks for the sharp knives!). Super clean and lots of room. Great location to watch bald eagles and ospreys. Deer, pileated woodpeckers and snowshoe hare were regular visitors.

Gorgeous views / charming house

The house had all the basic things we needed for a week long stay. The house is more charming than the pictures posted on VRBO. The 3 season porch and the cabin touch to the basement adds more character. Would definitely recommend this house. One request to the owner. Having a couple ocean kayaks would have elevated our experience.

Beautiful spacious private place for a getaway

This waterfront property is at the end of a long gravel road. We never saw a neighbor--nor are they visible. I think two other cars came down the road during the entire week's stay. The house itself is beautiful, immaculate, well-appointed . I have never stayed at a place with a better or more thoughtfully stocked kitchen: great pots, pans, dishes, utensils--perfect for the culinarily inclined. Similarly, very comfortable beds and big fluffy towels. We lacked for nothing. As for location, it's a few miles from a large grocery store and pharmacy, and there are some good restaurants nearby--no deliveries, however, so be prepared to cook your own food or drive 10-15 minutes to pick something up. We had one small snafu with the internet initially not working; the property manager was very responsive, took care of the problem immediately, and we had excellent internet for the remainder of the stay. This is a perfect house and location for a family gathering or reunion, or for a quiet getaway. Lots of hiking, fishing, swimming, clamming, boating opportunities for those so inclined.

The house needs AIR CONDITIONING

This house would be 5 stars if it had air conditioning. I came to Maine to get away from the heat, yet it was 84 degrees inside the house. The house does not even have fans to move the air around. Other than that, the house was great. They need to let renters know that the house does not have AC
