Beautiful small lodge

It's a beautiful small lodge with only 10 tents in close vicinity of Masai Mara national park. The staff is unbelievably friendly and made our stay very special. Due to the fact that the lodge is in the middle of the savanna, Masai in traditional clothing accompany you to and from the tents every time in order to protect the guests from wild animals. In fact, one night we heard a spotted hyena next to our tent. Even hippos could be heard during the night. Last but not least we saw hundreds of wildebeests and zebras and a giraff from the terrace of the camp due to migration season. On the last day as a birthday celebration we got a personalised cake as a surprise and a dance delivered by singing Masai and staff. The only thing we could criticise is that hot water was only available in the afternoon or evening due to the solar powered heating and the temperature drop during night.
