ever got our hotel keys

We booked the hotel for a one night stay with our 2 kids. When we arrived there was no one at reception and no keys to be found. It was impossible to reach anyone to get our keys. We had no choice than to book another hotel that cost us a lot more than this one. After 5 days of complain the situation is still not sorted out as no one seems to be able to reach the hotel and talk to someone. Do not stay there. It’s a terrible place

Nice personal hotel with a church inside! The dinner was good and bar had excellent local beers. Not luxurious but good decent hotel.

Hotel and Park!

Hotel is in a lovely neighborhood surrounded by a beautiful park. The rooms are modern and basic. No little amenities in the bath (half empty liquid soap bottle, no shampoo, no washcloths). The shower is a large tiled area (I want this in my house!). Unfortunately we could smell someone smoking all night long, and a child crying all night long. So I asked to be switched to a higher floor away from the room we were in. Second night was quiet and smoke free. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is not included, but has everything you could want. It's a good deal! The property is fenced for security and we had to go inside to get the code, but glad the hotel is secure.

Not what I expected

I booked that hotel as it was well place in the city to drive west in the morning and avoid traffic. Today I still wonder what exactly that place is. It is half way between a hospital and an office building. It is rather far off from any point of interest of Lyon, the rooms were clean but basic. It looked to me like an affordable congress center for companies
