Unwind at Barren River Lake at this lovely cabin on a lot that offers the Great Smokey Mountain feel. With 5 bedrooms including 2 King beds, 3 Queen beds, 2 Twin beds, and a Bunk bed (All beds are furnished with all needed bedding). This cozy retreat offers plenty of space for guests to relax with 2 Living Rooms, spacious Kitchen, and many decks to enjoy the amazing views and outdoor settings (you may even have a Bigfoot sighting!) The cabin has 3 Full Bathrooms (one on each floor) while each bathroom has a hair dryer, shampoo, and body wash for added convenience. There are great local eateries around the cabin. Enjoy Rusty's Lakeside Pub for great food and seasonal live music. Paradise Point is a wonderful breakfast spot along with very enjoyable owners and fun shopping for collectibles. Page's Pizza is just down the road and has live music as well. Proof Liquor, has a great environment and lots of food truck options. Lastly you can always head to the State Lodge Driftwood Restaurant. There also is a Dollar General for all your grocery needs ten minutes from Bigfoot Bay. With your hosts being fairly local they are always a text or call away to ensure your time at Bigfoot Bay on Barren River is superb!

Bigfoot Bay has many peaceful porches and decks that are ready to help everyone enjoy the outdoors. Starting with the spacious covered front porch. Around back you have an upstairs covered balcony that gives amazing views of our cove on Barren River Lake. On the lower floor there is a screened in deck with an outdoor table to enjoy coffee or meals. Make use of our propane Weber grill while preparing meals at Bigfoot Bay. Make yourself comfortable in the lower deck in our hammock as you watch the sunset overhead. Once your daylight is gone nothing beats starting a fire in our fire pit and roasting a few marshmallows.

Lastly as you make the way down to the water feel free to take a swim or fish off our dock when the lake is at summer pool. During the winter pool walking and exploring the lake bottom is a good way to pass the time as well.

The location is perfect with a paved driveway that offers plenty of parking. You are only minutes from the State Park, thirty minutes to Bowling Green, twenty minutes to Scottsville, & twenty minutes to Glasgow. Nashville TN is an easy hour drive away as well.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 5 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Perfect location to access the Barren Lake State Marina. The house was well stocked with a beautiful outdoor area. Easy access to the lake and there was an added bonus of kayaks on the property. Our group consisted of all adults but looked to be family friendly. Check-in was easy and the host was very responsive. Only downside is the last mile or so to the property- the road was narrow and steep. But after the first time in we knew what to expect and it wasn’t a big deal.
