Weekend in Suffolk with the pooch

Had booked a single room but on arrival found out I had been upgraded to a double. Happy days. All staff I encountered, especially the breakfast employees, were so helpful, kind thoughtful and friendly. Room was plenty big enough even with my dogs bed. Shower was efficient and so the hotel was quiet at night. Only gripe - tea bags were not what I’m used to and not great. Otherwise ideal stay. Great vfm too.

Very friendly staff. I had the opportunity to order an evening meal (Sunday) which was excellent. Breakfast was included which again was excellent. Help yourself to cereal, fruit juice and DIY toast. I ordered the vegan hot breakfast which was brought to me on a plate, everything was hot and cooked to my liking. My room had plenty of space and was quiet, although you could hear other residents shutting their doors. It would have been nice to have had a separate table in the room apart from the dressing table and bedside tables. I found the hot water to be hot at any time of day. The one drawback was, that the grab rails on the bath where fixed, had black mould around the edges. Apart from that, everything else appeared clean and it would not deter me from rebooking again in the future.

Fantastic weekend In Suffolk

Absolutely five star weekend,can’t rate this beautiful property enough,all the staff were so nice ,nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed by a lovely gentleman,wish I had asked his name ,he was so nice ,all through our stay he asked if we were ok ,did we need anything,was great. The food is amazing,generous portions ,breakfast was so yummy . Friday night was music night,weather was lovely,place was packed ,I would certainly recommend this hotel,can’t fault anything,the owner has done a fantastic job keeping it nice and friendly with the locals,decor is stunning,I have one complaint though we had to come home ! Can’t wait to go back ,bar staff ,restaurant staff ,everyone you met was genuinely friendly and helpful,they’re a credit to you Mr /Mrs Coach House well done ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an excellent stay thank you. My only criticism is the new rooms are directly on the car park so can be a little noisy with people coming and going. However, we look forward to returning.

Lovely short stay.

Warm welcome and great service. The whole team were very friendly at all times whether on reception, serving breakfast or just passing in corridors. Lovely room - very warm but housekeeping took steps to minimise this ahead of arrival. Good breakfast choices, well prepared.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful room and comfy bed. Food in the restaurant was amazing with huge portions. Let down was that the gravel leading to the ground floor cabins was deep and my powered wheelchair struggled so hubby had to push in places. This could be fixed by having a dedicated pathway leading to them as there is already a disabled parking space there although we were told the cabins were new and I assume the gravel was too so this may get better as it gets crushed by more vehicles. Also no mini fridge so no way to cool either the complementary bottled water or your own drinks and only a rather noisy fan (which squeaked) during a heatwave to keep you cool unless you spent your time at the bar/restaurant which seemed to have air con.

Im afraid its not a good review. My view was of a fence 4ft away and some bad condition cable haging off a wall??? Needed to ask for toilet roll (quickly resolved) Asked the waiter for some salad dressing for my Meal, he told me chef has put some on and didnt get any. Breakfast had re cooked bacon, re cooked single tiny suasage the rest was fine. I've never understood skimping on the last meal a hotel gives its guest. Charge another £1.00 and feed us properly. The place had a nice calm atmosphere and is in a quite area. Comfetable bed and a well apointed room with plenty of tea-coffe etc.
