Cold hot tub and terrible internet speed!
The area is a classy, 5-star area. Hollywood movie stars live near this house. It's a five minute drive to see some real California mansions. When we first pulled up in front of the house, it looks dilapidated. It looks like the black eye of the neighborhood, the family everyone else wishes would "move out". however, the back of the house was recently remodeled/renovated, and the pool house was recently built. The back yard and the poolhouse are nice. The electronics in the house are difficult to operate, and there was no instruction for anything. We almost froze because we didn't understand how to operate the heater. We tried looking some things up online, but the internet was so SLOW, I thought it was dial-up. It was almost enough to make me rate the place ZERO STARS. I told the host I would like to get in the hot tub, since I paid an extremely high amount of $ to stay at a "POOLHOUSE'. He took the cover off the pool and said the hot tub would be hot. I went out to dinner. When I returned 90 minutes later I went out to the hot tub to relax with the family and the hot tub and pool were ice cold. I texted the host that he "forgot" to turn it on. He responded at 10PM, 2 hours later and said he was putting his kids to bed, but would look at it. Not sure he ever did. I'm not happy at all for a $600 per night stay.
