Private lake house on Deer Lake

"We had a great week's stay at Deer Lake this month with our granddaughter and her friend. The house was clean and as described in the listing. It met our needs and desires. The kitchen was adequately stocked and included range, oven, microwave, side by side fridge/freezer, toaster and Kurig and drip coffee makers. The lake view is gorgeous and swimming right off the dock was so convenient. The floating pad and kayaks were loads of fun. Shelly, the owner/host, was not in residence upstairs during our stay, but was available by phone to adjust the thermostat (via internet) when it got chilly in the downstairs section. Portable heaters and fans were also available to help adjust the comfort level. Parking for 3 vehicles is included and extras can be accommodated with a fee. Note that access to the house is via outside steps or gravel path down from the street/upper level so loading & unloading your belongings and supplies is not effortless, but it was worth it! Also note that the bunkbed sleeping area does not have windows or a secondary emergency exit if that concerns you - it wasn't a problem for us. The country store at the cabin & RV resort next door was close by to purchase treats and odds & ends. Pizza & ice cream shop at the Loon Lake roundabout was yummy and only 10 minutes away. We're looking forward to a longer stay next year!"
