Disliked: Cleanliness
A lot of things weren’t up to par. There was no duvet cover on the one bed, you had to body slam the front door to get in, some of the outlets didn’t work, the walls were paper thin and can hear every footstep and every toilet flush, some of the doors were held open with door stoppers because they wouldn’t stay open. I wouldn’t say it was well cleaned. There was mouse poop in the dish rack, floors were dirty, kitchen table was dirty, pans were dirty, dead bugs scattered about. But the worst of all was the oven. We preheated the oven, assuming it was clean, and the house filled with smoke. Once we turned the oven off and looked inside, it looked like someone dumped oil in the entire thing and we were unable to use the oven the entire trip. I then spent my entire vacation messaging with the host (instead of enjoying my not very cheap vacation) who did send someone out. The maintenance guy was very nice and tried to fix it for us but he needed to talk to management, who then offered us a toaster oven to use to feed my family of six.
