Cabin was quaint and nice, however, the hot tub was dirty for our 2 night stay. The owner did send someone out twice to treat it but even when we left it was still dirty. Aside from that, we had a nice stay.

My mom and I had a very comfortable stay at the "Almost Home" cabin. I would love to rent it again next Fall. The hot tub came in handy and was in good operating condition. Our beds were great, place was warm and roomy and my dog was content as well. Thanks again for the opportunity to enjoy a few more memories with my mom. Loved it!

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at Almost Hiking! The cabin was well supplied and we appreciated the little things provided for our pets. We didn’t need to reach out to the owners during our stay (everything was perfect) and when I had questions prior to our stay, we received quick responses. We enjoyed using the hot tub and fire pit. It was pretty convenient getting to the state park to enjoy our hikes. The cabin was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Quiet settings with a great view of the stars! We would love to stay here again for future trips to Hocking.

Nice private property. All was good and as advertised. Would book again. Hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. No contact with the owner was needed as we had all we needed.

Everything was really nice!! It was convenient being close to town but still private. We loved the hot tub was very enjoyable after a long day of hiking. Cabin is super cute. Loved that it is dog friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property, close to town. Very clean. Water pressure in bathroom sink had us concerned about shower. However, we were pleasantly surprised with great pressure! Beds very comfortable. First day, saw two bucks in the side yard looking at us! Did not use hot tub or firepit. They were really nice.

My wife and I took our grandsons for a relaxing week.The cabin is beautiful, as soon as we walked in we fell in love with it. My wife didn't want to leave at all. The living room was so relaxing, we spent a lot of time kicking back there. Will definitely look to rent this cabin again.

We had a great stay! The hot tub was well maintained and the perfect temp. The cabin was a nice distance from the trails and exceeded our expectations. We were there as a mini vacation before our daughter started her senior year. She is already asking how soon we can come back!

There was clothes in the dresser left from previous renter!!Dishwasher was left full of clean dishes!We love the property but there was a couple of things that could be changed there was only one hand towel for the bathroom for the entire 3 nights!! Only 2 dish towels for the kitchen,

Great Cabin

Amazing stay! Everything looked beautiful and it was a peacefull area. The driveway is a little steep but manageable. Overall we had a great time relaxing in the hottub and grilling out.

Girls trip

The cabin was just as described. The only Downfall we experienced was the well water really smelled like rotten eggs. I know it isn’t the owners fault but it was pretty bad. The blankets also had a musty smell probably from the well water.

Wonderful Stay!

Spent a long weekend getaway at Almost Hiking and it was perfect! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We were impressed from the moment we walked in the door. Location is just outside of town if we needed to run to the store but was just enough outside of town to be remote. Will definitely look to stay here again!
