The house was perfect for our large group - very clean and well stocked. It's very remote, which made it great for a wellness retreat where we felt like we were secluded on our own.

We had a great stay but there were many, many things wrong with this place. We did enjoy the two dishwashers and ovens as well as the king size beds. The design makes little sense with a full bathroom where there are no bedrooms and bedrooms in the basement that had no bathroom. The living room on the first floor off the kitchen had very uncomfortable furniture and not enough of it. There was a very long bar between the kitchen and living room without any barstools. The cooktop hood had two very sharp corners which you could easily hit your head on as you cooked. We never did find a broom or extra kitchen towels (they left us 2.). One bed was missing a leg which we found in the closet and reattached to the bed! We had two cracked toilet seats that would pinch your bum when you sat on them. It took two requests for any action on this and they never told me they were sending anyone out. Communication was poor. At least half, likely more, of the bathroom sinks had very slow drains that were gross. There was no book or folder with instructions on the house (tv's, sauna, hot tub, fireplaces....) or information on the surrounding areas. Some shower curtains were moldy. The dining room table really should be bigger than seating for 10 when you have a home this large. We never used the lovely deck because it had rained and the cushions were left outside and were very wet and some had mold on them. The area around there is beautiful but I do not recommend this home.

So many hang out spaces! Beautifully decorated! Loved all the "extras" in the kitchen like spices, storage bags, coffee, etc. Linens and towels available on every bed. Many rooms had extra box fan or heating unit. Plenty of dishes and silverware to accommodate our large group. Beautiful views from the property, outside gas fireplace was so cozy and inviting. The hot tub was perfect temperature and the swings were so fun! Geodome did not have a bed as shown in listing photos and the paddleboat was waterlogged. No luck catching any fish in the lake, but we still had a great time!

Our group really enjoyed this property. We had 29 adults in our group and found that there was plenty of space for everyone. We did need to strategically park our cars though. The kitchen setup was great and having 3 fridges available was really convenient. The pool was probably the most popular feature for our group. We also really enjoyed the on site hiking trail. It was a little overgrown, but the property owners gave us a map to lead us to a waterfall that was also on site.The property owners and their team were very nice to work with. We had a lot of questions leading up to our stay and they were very quick to get back to us. During our stay, they had someone on call 24/7 to help us. Fortunately we didn't have any critical problems during the weekend. We just had some lightbulbs burn out and the owners quickly directed us to their supply closet.We were a little disappointed about the firepit location. It is located near the shelter next to the pond. That area is unlit and at the bottom of a long set of steep steps. It is very difficult to get firewood down there and there was very little room for people around the fire.I would also caution perspective renters about the driveway into the property. It is just a little over a car width wide, unlit and has several blind hills. You definitely want to take it slow and be mindful of when anyone in your group is coming or going.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location! Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy! Pond was a plus for fishing and boating but keep in mind it is a hard walk back up! Beds were super comfortable and house was very clean! Very nice pool! We had a large family group ages 1-67 and we all enjoyed our stay! Property managers were always very quick to respond.

Amazing family vacation!

We just got back from a large family vacation & we loved this property! The house was huge so everyone had space if they wanted it! The pool was great, along with the hot tub. The patio and balcony views were awesome, the kids & husbands LOVED the fishing pond behind the property and frequented this daily! The kitchen and dining room were perfect for our family meals and snacking. All the showers were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and the sauna was awesome! Along with the pool table/ping pong table and bar area downstairs right off the patio with the fire table and grill! We brought our Cornhole boards and enjoyed evenings together on the patio & games in the game room! Highly recommended!

Huge Home! Great Pool.

We had 18 adults and 10 kids (Age 10 and under) including babies! Things we LOVED:- The owner was super communicative and wonderful to work with!- The Pool was great! The hot tub is a staircase away— also very nice!- Spacious and super clean! With 28 of us, babies were able to nap when adults and teens were loud, so that worked great. - Private! There were no homes nearby. It was very exclusive feeling and easy to find!Things that could have been improved: - We needed more tables and chairs. Maybe another dining table/chair set in the main kitchen/living area. And another dining style table/chair set in the TV room for playing cards and/or games. Adding an ice maker would be recommended— bring your own bags of ice!- There are only 2 TVs on the property, there could have been a couple more in our opinion.- The laundry was located on the cabin side basement so it felt very far away from the “new” part of the house. You have to travel through 2 bedrooms to get to it. I would recommend a small stackable washer/dryer on the “new” side of the house as an improvement.- We never did find a camp fire ring— and the pond was 72 staircase steps down hill.Overall this house is humongous! Plenty of space for lots of people. The kitchen is well stocked (the only thing we couldn’t find was a can opener) with great appliances. There was plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body soap in the bathrooms. Our family had a lot of fun making memories.

Family Reunion Fun

Our group ranged from 1 to 91. The house is HUGE - some of us never got around to visiting all the levels! The 3 kitchens gave adequate cooling space for all the meals we ate there. A downside is there's not a big place for all of us to eat close by so it was a juggle. The pool was a HIT for our group - what a nice place to hang out when back from a hike in Hocking Hills or ZipLining. We did have some maintenance issues (kitchen faucet and door out to pool) that we ended up fixing ourselves after communicating with the owner. Be aware that there are no full bathrooms for all of those staying in the basement sides of either the house or the cabin. For planning it would have been nice to have a full layout of the house and to be kept aware when things advertised on the website were unavailable or changed. Memories were made for our lifetimes - thanks for hosting us!

Our extended family stayed 4 nights. We lucked out with 3 beautiful, sunny days. The property is beautiful and feels very secluded, and yet there’s a Kroger just 10 minutes away. Best view in the house is from the cabin side balcony - I had coffee there every morning and was visited by a deer a few times. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. The host responded quickly when we had trouble figuring out the A/C when we arrived. The house was clean and well-stocked with basic necessities in the kitchens (except for frying pans) and bathrooms, and I loved that beach towels were provided. A few things you should know, however: the GeoDome does not have a bed and is not in sleeping condition, the paddle boats were not usable - one had a broken pedal and the other two were partially sunk, and there is only one coffee maker for the entire house. There is a nice bonus bedroom in the lowest level of the cabin with a king bed, but you have to walk through another bedroom to get to it. It didn’t work out for our group, but it might work for yours. The fire pit is down by the pond, and several in our group couldn’t make the steep climb, but there’s a nice fire table on the deck we used instead.

10/10 recommend staying here! Everything you need right on hand, so much to do, so big and spacious. There is something for everyone!! Completely exceeded our expectations, we will definitely be back. Hosts were absolutely awesome and easy to communicate with.

Amazing property in the Hicking Hills

The house is vast with enough space to accomodate a large group, but not feel like you're on top of each other. Everybody can gather, or get some priavacy as they prefer. There are only 7 actual bed rooms with doors, other sleeping areas are open to traffic. It wasn't really a problem, but took some negotiations.

Perfect Getaway For a Large Group

We couldn’t have asked for a better rental for our group getaway! With kids ranging in age from 4 to 15, it’s not always easy to find a place that keeps everyone happy — but this property delivered in every way. The house was absolutely spotless on arrival and felt instantly welcoming. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, which made group meals a breeze, and every detail had been thought of. Multiple hangout areas helped us all keep our sanity. Communication with the hosts was top-notch — friendly, fast, and helpful from start to finish. There is so much to do right on the property and in the immediate area. The kids are still debating whether the waterfall hike or the fishing pond was the highlight of the trip. (We say both!) We’re already talking about coming back!

Family Vacay

We had a great time being close to Hocking Hills. The property was fun to explore and the kids enjoyed the paddle boards on the lake. We were 16 people and fit comfortably. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and pots and pans.The pool was not open so we can’t speak for that. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable.

Getaway with our boys

The property had plenty of space for the large group. We gathered in the large kitchen for meals and used the 2nd kitchen as a back up. The boys loved the hot tub and back deck area. The surrounding state park is a must see.

Family Christmas

Every year we bring our family - kids and grands - to Hocking Hills for a week after Christmas. It's our time to run away from day to day life and just BE. We merge 6 families with ages from 4 to 70. This property was beautiful and I was able to easily take to older grands hiking just on the property. This is an excellent property if some want to be more distant, more away from the rest of the family, since the log cabin portion is separated by a long hall ("the secret passageway" according to the grands). Our only concern was the kids bunk room was well separated from where parents would sleep. Otherwise, an excellent stay!

Perfect Retreat!

The property was exactly what we were looking for! Our staff of 13 stayed with plenty of room and great hangout spaces. There were games, an Xbox, and beautiful hiking spaces to enjoy. Hot tub was in perfect condition and the sauna was amazing after a hike. Great experience. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderful Winter Stay

Excellent property for multi family get together. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and parking. Everyone was able to spread out and enjoy themselves. Kitchen was awesome with enough seating for all. We spent most of our time playing games in the lower level. Kids enjoyed hiking on property in the snow.

Two for One

This property is like having two vacation getaways in one rental. The cabin is quiet and cozy while the main home is spacious and filled with great spaces to host a large family gathering. The main kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals with high end appliances and a large island. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are stocked with towels, soap, and shampoo in case you forgot anything. The property has a great variety of spaces to accommodate your whole group at once or to break off for some quiet time. The pond, trails, and grounds are beautiful. The host was very responsive and welcoming. Thank you!
