Originally a gallery, Space On The Hill is a large free standing, open plan warehouse style space. It is in the heart of town, has views over rolling green hills and is 200 meters from the Great Southern Rail Trail.

In the heart of vibrant Loch village with its shopping, cafes and restaurants & just meters from the rail trail, this is a welcoming and thoughtfully designed space with relaxation in mind.

**Features
• Characterful - Vaulted ceilings, imported vintage Indian hand crafted double door and recycled floor boards (formerly donning one of Melbourne’s old pool halls)
• Convenient - self check in via a lock box key. A fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, air fryer oven, convection stove), and new bathroom with a walk in shower.
• Views - The front deck has views over rolling green hills and parklands to the right and the town to the left.
• Comfortable & cosy - The queen sized bed is part of the open plan space but has a curtain you can pull across to create even more of a cozy sanctuary. The lounge space has 2 super comfy sofas and a recliner with foot rest
• Perfect temperature - Even if you’re a little fussy about temperature you will be warm and cosy or cool and comfortable here. The massive 9kw split system is up to the task and the 360 degree insulation is at one of the highest thermal efficiency standards.

**Ultra high quality linen & bedding
• Towels - Egyptian cotton towels in the bathroom + stylish Turkish beach towels to borrow if you head to one of the nearby beaches.
• Bedding – high thread count cotton / bamboo sheets, bamboo memory foam pillows, tontine washable woolen quilt and high quality doona covers.

**Supplies on hand
• You’ll find (at a minimum,) butter, tomato sauce, stock cubes, sugar, Lavazza gold coffee (works with plunger supplied), multiple tea offerings (loose leaf and bags), pancake mix, peanut butter, vegemite, honey, olive oil, dried basil & oregano, pepper, salt, cinnamon, Nescafé gold, some yummy ice creams in the freezer + more.

**Vibrant village by day, peaceful town by night
• You won’t hear your adjoining neighbours, but as the bnb is in the central part of our lively village, cafés, shops and restaurants are close by. At times, music or people sounds may drift through during the day and dinner hours from nearby venues.
• Guests usually enjoy being in the heart of such an energetic community during its busier moments and afterwards comment on how calm and quiet it becomes. The perfect balance for a fun and relaxing weekend, with everything just a short walk from your door.
• We ask guests to enjoy the space with low noise levels, especially after 7pm.

• Parking on street out the front of Space on the Hill is free.
• The South Gippsland Hwy is 500 meters away, so occasional traffic noise may also be noticed.

• No kids. Sorry, no bookings with kids of any age. (We love them but the space isn’t set up for them)
• No pets. We love them too, but sorry, there are no exceptions to this rule.

• Loch and Loch region are so beautiful. Every season has its secrets and shines in its own way.
• I couldn't believe how beautiful this area was when I first came through in 2018. It took a couple of years but I moved here early 2020. Space On The Hill was launched in 2021 after adding a kitchen, the bathroom, flooring and heating and I've spent 3 years being really proud of creating a space and guest experience that is designed to help you exhale from the life that keeps your mind and body busy.

• Space On The Hill is in the heart of vibrant Loch village with its shopping, cafes, brewery, winery and restaurants & just meters from the rail trail some lovely walks and waterways.

• Relax in the space. Explore the shops, eateries, trails, waterways and hills of Loch. Venture around South Gippsland beaches, woodlands, green fields and natural wonders.

What a beautiful place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Space on the hill - warm, spacious, very comfortable, excellent kitchen facilities, private, beautifully decorated, everything we needed plus more! Thanks Beck for the treats and for being such a thoughtful and helpful host. We enjoyed the sweet town of Loch and the Sunday market up the road. The rain on the roof was lovely to fall asleep to! Thankyou again and would highly recommend to all as a fantastic place to stay!

Tranquil place in amongst a vintage village and rolling hills
