Immaculate hotel with perfect views!!

Booked for an 80th birthday treat for parents. We have stayed before so knew they wouldnt be disappointed! From the welcoming smile on reception they knew they would enjoy! They had a seaview room..perfectly appointed with two chairs to watch the world go by! Immaculate room. Added bonus was some birthday treats! She was so surprised! Lovely welsh breakfast with everything you could want. They had the best stay and many happy memories made! Thanks Lauriston!!

Made to feel very welcome and the staff were lovely as was the breakfast. On the whole the room was clean but the water glasses hadn’t been washed properly and there were just a couple of other little areas that lacked attention to detail. Also there was no hot water in the morning after I had showered so my husband had to shave and shower in cold water !!

The room was clean & tidy although some of the furniture had marks on them view from window was stunning breakfast on first day was ok the beans were just warm bacon could have been cooked more second day was better had a muffin with scrambled egg which was a little runny for my liking but it was hot breakfast room does get busy as it's quite small where you help yourself to cereals etc staff are very polite and helpful

Not bad, but not great either

We booked an overnight stay at short notice in a Superior Room. The room had a great view of the beach/prom. However, the hotel felt a little tired and without any double glazing was draughty/lots of noise from outside can be heard in the room. The music on the pier can be clearly heard from inside and there was no escape until the pier closed! The bathroom was very small and the room itself wasn't huge either. The windows were not openable for fresh air and if the curtains were open anyone walking by can look up and into your room as there were no adjustable blinds (there is however a roller blind, but that's either up and the window is totally clear or it's down and it's totally obscured) Parking must be booked ahead of your visit as it's basically a space in the layby outside the hotel. Having said that there are plenty of car parks around and the prom/roadside parking is free after 4pm until 10am the following day if you can find a space. I wouldn't choose to stay here again due to the points above, but the staff were all absolutely lovely - they were faultless

Not 4 star when we visited, although we stayed a bit out of seasn, but expected 4star cleanliness. Had many cleanliness issues in room 9 for family of 2 adults and 3 children. Bedding and quality of towels were good. Room's were great for us as a family, and we enjoyed our night's stay with our grandchildren. Breakfast was very good and plenty of options, cooked breakfast was lovely with good quality ingredient's , staff took care of our complaints, would stay again.

First of all, they declared their parking full at 2 in the afternoon and left no scope of a space being available later. The guy who informed me this was loud and unapologetic about parking spaces. I had tried calling them the day prior and the same day and they never happened to pick a call. Secondly, we were there on 22nd feb 2025 in a family room.The window and the walls had mould in multiple places. The room was on 3rd floor and there was so much noise from other rooms which kept my baby up till late. No water provided in the rooms. Dark dingy staircase and the view from back was terrible. The mattress seemed old and made noises through the night, our backs hurt the next day. I would never ever step a foot near this hotel again!

The room was a bit small but adequate. Downside there were quite a few stairs but no lift. Will definitely go again but will stay on a lower floor. The staff were fantastic , friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Cooked breakfast was one of the best ive ever had. Loads of food , good choices. Hotel situated in ideal place , near the pier and everything within easy walking distance. Beautiful view over the bay with sea view room. Will definitely return to this hotel
