The best "pet friendly" accomodation!

The property was fantastic - great hosts (Deb and Dave) who answered all our questions promptly before booking and arriving. They were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a beautiful cottage which had everything we needed, huge yard for our 5 dogs! Quiet location, perfect to relax and get away from our busy lives.

Stunning getaway

We went with a group of 6 mates and had a really amazing time. Would highly recommend. The walks, surrounds and views are absolutely beautiful. Deb and David were very accomodating and hospitable. We really enjoyed relaxing by the river during the day and by the fire in the evening. The property is surrounded by stunning green rolling hills with cattle and sheep roaming about. A fantastic getaway.

Peaceful and pet friendly

Rivers Edge was the perfect place to come for a city escape. From the stunning location to the comfortable beds, there was nothing to fault in between. We lit the fire pit each afternoon and watched the sun go down while roasting marshmallows. Bella, our border collie, loved it most of all! It was great to stay somewhere so pet friendly. We’ll be back. Thanks Deb and Dave.

If there is better place anywhere...It must be in Heaven!

We travelled from N.E. Victoria to Boonah in S.E. Qld with 3 Labradors. The whole trip was booked as Dog Friendly accommodation. MADNESS YOU MIGHT SAY? We loved every wonderful home that we stayed in...BUT...Deb and Dave Sheldon at River's Edge Pet Friendly have blown us away so close to home that it's hard to imagine going anywhere else! Really...just wonderful!

River Retreat

Picture perfect... cottage by the river. Went to sleep listening to the river running. A great fenced large yard for the dogs and also allowed inside on hard surfaces. Brought back childhood memories of country holidays in a farmhouse, throwing a line in the creek. Not too far into Tumut. Adelong also worth the visit. Very helpful and friendly hosts up the hill.

Fantastic place!

We had a fantastic holiday at Rivers Edge. The location is great, nice and secluded, the only sounds we heard were the wildlife and the river. The water was amazing, we had a great swim in some of the many deeper parts along the property, and Deborah was more than happy to point us in the right direction. The set up of the cottage had everything we needed, with enough room that we were comfortable and had every amenity we could ask for. We are already planning a return trip because we had such a great time here!
