The apartment is located about 500m to the beach, on the pool level of the main house, surrounded by tall trees; seaward palms.
It offer 4 beds in 2 rooms; 1 x double, 1 x bunk bed (1st 90/0. 90m), ideal for families with children since the pool is featured with a staircase and a 1.00 m deep area.
All rooms and the bathrooms are equipped with central heating, so that the apartment can be used all year round.
W-LAN, British satellite TV and radio with CD player available.
The windows have double glazing after dt. Standard with Portuguese 'Portadas' (internal stores - pushed).
The living room includes a new and modern kitchen with upscale standard includes microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machines (powder and capsule) etc.
Covered barbecue area with Portuguese stone oven available.
After agreement is possible to use a washing machine.

The main house is occupied only occasionally.

The pool level is exclusive for guests.

In the holiday season the local Yacht Club (Clube Naval Sesimbra) offers the possibility of sailing! A surf-Kitschule as well as stand-up school is located some 15km. Furthermore, the guests are happy to take on Hemp range diving schools with the appropriate qualifications to the various dive sites.
Approximately 15 minutes away is the Golf and Country Club 'Quinta do Peru', which invites you to play golf and tennis.

We absolutely loved staying here! The location was wonderful nestled up in the hills with superb poolside views, tucked away from the hustle & bustle below but not so far when you want to join in... perfect for cosy rest and relaxtion which is just what we needed on this visit... Sesimbra is stunning we will return xx especially if we get to see our gracious and warm host again :) thanks so much, dear Günther!

Another wonderful stay

This was our 2nd holiday at Günther’s apartment and, if anything, it was even better than we had remembered it. The swimming pool and garden are so inviting that it is tempting to stay there and not explore Sesimbra! We are already yearning to be back there.

A Cool Spot in Sesimbra

A very comfortable place to stay with 3 people or less. The small beach town and owner are very nice and helpful. The views, accomodations and location are awesome. I would definitely go back and also liked the owner so much that I invited him to visit my home town!

Simple but perfect (just bring your walking shoes!)

The apartment is great, small but has everything you could want. The pool and outside area is lovely and bigger than it looks in the photos. Gunther is a great host, available and friendly but never in the way. The beach is close but down a big hill! If you have a young family it can be a bit tough walking to town with a buggy. Generally a really great base and proof that all the reviews about it add up true. Great place

Really enjoyable place and location.

We were very happy staying at this property. Günther was very hospitable and willing to help us with anything and everything. We stayed in Sesimbra in June so it was not during the high season which was just starting as we left. It meant that the town was rather quiet but still everything was open and we enjoyed some wonderful restaurants and beautiful sights and beaches of Sesimbra. The only downside to the low season was the lack of taxi's or Ubers which were hard to get and we were forced, more than we would have liked, to take the steep walk home at the end of the day. Just as we were leaving they seemed to be opening a bus stop on the next corner so that problem might be solved already. All in all we really enjoyed staying at Günther's place and in Sesimbra. Would recommend.

Fantastic holiday in a lovely apartment

My family spent a wonderful ten days in Günther’s apartment. He was a superb host, giving us a tour of the town when we arrived, introducing us to his two lovely dogs, (which the children loved playing with) and being on hand if ever we needed anything. The pool and garden were beautiful and a wonderful place to relax, while the apartment itself was very nice and ideal for our needs. The children really liked sleeping in the little bunk beds. It’s not a long walk into the town, though it is a bit of a drag up the hill to get back, particularly in the heat with shopping bags! We enjoyed exploring all parts of Sesimbra’s beaches and on one day we hired a boat to take us 10 minutes west along the coast to a stunning secluded cove. Highly recommended! Günther would’ve taken us on a sailing trip too, had the weather permitted, so it was a shame the wind was too strong. Perhaps next time! All in all, it was a fantastic holiday and we’d very much like to do it again one day.

Fantastic Stay

We had a wonderful week in Sesimbra staying at Gunther's apartment. It is in a quiet location, ten minutes walk from beach. Gunther kindly showed us quickest route to the beach, etc. He also advised us of best places to eat (Sesimbra's seafood .is amazing!) It is an uphill walk back, but this wasn't a problem for our family. Please note the pool is actually bigger than the photos suggest - being approximately 11m by 4m. The garden and pool area are beautifully maintained. Gunther was the perfect host, being available and accessible for help and advice when required, whilst respecting our privacy at other times. We would highly recommend a stay at Gunther's apartment.... particularly for young families. Thank you again Gunther!

Fantastic location, excellent facilities, lovely host!

My husband, children and I stayed with Gunther in July 2018 and had the most wonderful week in Sesimbra. Gunther was the perfect host, giving us a tour of the area, advice on the best bars and restaurants and even helping us out with a slight medical emergency by taking me to his private doctor! We were also treated to an afternoon out sailing with Gunther which was one of the main highlights of our holiday....Such an unexpected treat! The accomodation was first class, exceptionally well equipped, clean and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for more. Our children absolutely loved the pool and garden which overlooked the sea. Within the garden, there is a fabulous BBQ area with a pizza oven and lighting so you can sit outside into the small hours enjoying the views and lovely warm evening breeze. The house itself is a 10 min walk into town and a 20 min walk through a forest path to the castle. We wouldn't stay anywhere else on our next trip to Sesimbra (which I hope will be soon!)

Property is in a quiet residential area with great views down to the ocean. Lots of outdoor space, seating and loungers, barbecue area and decent sized private pool. Indoors the kitchen and living/dining areas are bright and airy with everything you need to self cater if you wish. The only downside was the bedroom which doesn't get much light and was a little bit musty. New bed linen and towels would upgrade my review to 4.5 stars. Gunther is a great host, although he lives on site he gave us privacy but was there if we needed anything. He gave us a tour on arrival to show us the nearest supermarket and best fish restaurant in town. Do go there, you won't be disappointed - we went back it was so good. Would recommend a car as the walk back up from the beach and town is quite steep. All in all would recommend and would be happy to stay here again.

Fijn appartement met geweldig zwembad op een goede locatie.

We wilden onze stedentrip naar Lissabon afsluiten met een paar dagen relaxen aan de kust. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit appartement met uitzicht op de oceaan. Het zwembad was geweldig en er is dan ook veel gebruik van gemaakt. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig en het contact met de verhuurder verliep prettig. Dit appartement is echt een aanrader!!! Er zijn veel mooie dingen te zien in de omgeving, zoals het kasteel in Sesimbra, Cabo Espichel, dolfijnen spotten vanuit Sesimbra of Setubal, prachtige strandjes op de route van Sesimbra naar Setubal (bijv. Praia dos Coelhos).

The best place you can ask for. You have your own private garden with swimming pool, BBQ area, lovely sea view. Very friendly and helpful landlord. Free of charge alocated car parking space. Very close to town center. Lots of local restaurants offering fresh seafood variety. We spent 7 nights and we are very pleased that we choose that accomodation. Village is about 40 min from Lisbon and 50-60 min from Sintra. You get best of both worlds (City break and quality family time ). We will be happy to visit again

Günther ist ein ganz toller Gastgeber. Hat mir und meiner Nichte sogar eine kleine Tour mit den besten Tips in Sesimbra gegeben. Die Wohnung ist mega, vor allem der Pool mit Blick auf das Meer. Und es ist alles da was man braucht und sauber. Wir hatten ein Auto aber von der Wohnung aus kann man sogar runter zum Strand und an die Promenade laufen. Also wirklich tip-top. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder.

Everything (house, pool, garden) was very clean and well maintained. Günther is the perfect host, friendly and unobtrusive but always available if you need help or information. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and last but not least, the view is wonderful. We went down to the seaside and back up again on foot, but for people who find the climb too steep, it's easy and cheap to take a taxi.
