This little hotel is right where one wants to be in Lindau-Insel. Not on the waterfront, but in the pedestrian zone and just a few minutes walk from everything. There is a lift and the breakfasts are excellent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Just loved staying here.

Great location

Located in the perfect location. Center of the old town, within walking distance to all the sights. We received a message stating limited parking is available and must be booked ahead of time. They also gave us recommendations for paid parking nearby. We ended up parking at one of the parking decks and paid 14€ for 24 hours. Friendly, accommodating staff. Breakfast buffet was good given covid restrictions. Only complaint was no AC. We stayed when the temperature was 90° F but the room did have a small fan. All in all would recommend staying here.

Located in the heart of town walk to everything. The staff exceeded my expectations with their help and friendliness. They allow you to park in front to check in and then direct you to the parking. Breakfast quite nice. I absolutely recommend this hotel. You do not need a car on the island at all.

Fantastic location with a good breakfast with helpful staff, We were delayed on the Sunday so we arrived soon after the check in had closed but a very nice lady called to ask if we were still coming and she waited which is great service. Could have done with air con in rooms. But overall a great little hotel.

Great location in pedestrian section, yet within 50 yards to roads. Hotel is a quick, few blocks walk to waterfront and harbor AND a short walk to main town square and churches. On way to square, lots of gift shops, bakeries and restaurants. Very nice reception staff. Rooms are tidy and includes all necessities. Parking is about 100 yards away in a small outdoor lot which is convenient. Elevator and easy for Handicap to navigate.

Fantastic location right in the main part of Lindau Insel. Close to all the sights and restaurants and plenty of places to walk to. Very pleasant and pretty town with some great restaurants.

Very nice hotel, modern and clean. The rooms are a bit small, especially if you need to use the sofa bed. Nice location and the hotel has a lift which is a plus.

Lovely hotel in centre

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Old hotel with lots of character. The room was very pleasant overlooking the main street which is pedestrianised. Breakfast was good. The location was great being 10 minutes walk from the station & few minutes walk from the beautiful waterfront.

Good and popular 3 star, centrally located hotel

Excellent and friendly service in a very centrally located family hotel featuring 28 pleasant rooms of various sizes within walking distance from main railway station, about 200/250 yards on on main pedestrian only street featuring many shops and restaurants. Also within a 5 minute walk to all ships and ferry services Lake Constance has to offer. Average but good and plentiful Continental breakfast

Perfect service in a great hotel.

I cannot say enough about the service. Wow. Are train was late and past the checkin time. The owner left a note with his number for us and he had the key all setup. Then in the morning, service was SUPER pleasant. Though our stay in town was short, the Insel Hotel made it comfortable. Everything about the hotel was great, perfect location and clean. If there was a drawback it would be the size of the room, though I doubt anything relative would be that much better.
