The Neighborhood:
The village of Newbiggin nestles close to the valley floor on the south side of Bishopdale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This pretty and ancient village in the heart of Wensleydale is situated in truly beautiful countryside, with old stone cottages set out in a long line through a minor road that wends its way through the village. This is a walker's paradise, with wonderful countryside, magnificent views and the Cauldron Falls still delighting visitors. The local pub is set on the outskirts of the village and serves fine ales and excellent homemade cuisine. There is also an excellent range of amenities in the nearby market towns of Hawes and Leyburn.

A very nice cottage in a delightful location, adequately equipped for 5 but not 7.
A lot to like about this cottage, but we felt there should be more crockery and cutlery as the machine had to go on half empty or we ran out. The kitchen is a squash for more than 4 people at the table. Double beds could be a bit wider and we are quite slim people!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
