Tastefully decorated, located in a peaceful location with private garden next to a wood, it is only a 4-minute drive to the bottom of the slopes of Les Houches ski resort; It is also a 7-minute drive from the center of Chamonix, the Brévent Ski Resort and the Aiguille du Midi cable car.
For your comfort, towels, and sheets are provided for your stay. The cleaning fee is also included in the rental package.

Great chalet

maybe 1.5km away from the lifts but still a decent location as the bus goes past the bottom of the road a few mins walk away and there is a big supermarket and a few restaurants within walking distance. The property has a great view of the mountains. Check in was easy and communication with the host was good. Other reviews mentioned that it is effectively semi-detached and you might have guests in the other half but the bbq and garden seating are all separate so I don't think this is a problem. We were mountain biking and found the property well equipped for this and the garage was useful for storing our bikes. Negatives are that 2 of the beds are in a mezzanine above the lounge with just a curtain for privacy and that some areas of the property are in need of refurbishment but I think this is reflected in the price and this was not a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Ski holiday

No keys at check-in and unable to reach emergency contacts provided. Finally gained access after 45 minutes when emergency contact arrived with key to property. This is not what we needed after a long journey. Owner dropped off chocs and champagne the following day, which was kind of him and out up Christmas tree, which was appreciated.

Charming chalet

We were 2 families with small children. The chalet has a beautiful mountain view, with a great play area for the children. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are games for the children, TV. Beds are comfy, chalet is nicely divided and really cosy. Hosts were very welcoming, online, and check in was easy. Really a great place to stay with your family, or two families. Would visit again

Cozy family holiday home from home.

We stayed for a week in Les Houches with our extended family. The layout of the property was perfect with grandparents having own privacy downstairs (mind you head entering the bedroom) We cooked a lot of meals in the property and found most utensils required, could have done with a potato masher, lids for saucepans and few more mugs but we managed perfectly well without!! The fire was lovely and logs being provided was a welcome extra!! It soon heats tge property... Espcially upstairs!!!! We had a car and 4 wheel drive in snowy conditions is really worth it due to the high location of the property. The view was amazing and we spent many mornings in the kitchen discussing the pure wonder and ever changing landscape. Les Houches ski area was perfect, plenty of snow and good variety of ski runs. The local ice rink was really friendly, very reasonably priced. Shame we only discovered it on the last day. We had a really great stay thank you ☺️

Very cute! Loved this place

This was a most wonderful stay ! The couch was cute , with cute pillows . The yard was lovely. The kitchen worked well. Comfortable beds, great towel warmers. Loved the bathtub . Loved the place!

Un chalet très agréable mais demi chalet et mitoyen

Nous avons découvert le chalet Cosmos du 3 août jusqu'au 17 août. Nous avons été vraiment surpris de découvrir qu'il s'agissait d'un demi chalet ( non précisé dans l'annonce) et que la terrasse et le jardin étaient finalement communs avec d'autres locataires. Une seule petite barrière nous séparait au niveau de la terrasse pour avoir un peu d'intimité lors de nos repas pris sur la terrasse. L'intérieur de la maison est spacieux, propre et bien agencé. La pelouse n'était pas tondue lorsque nous sommes arrivés mais après l'avoir signalé aux propriétaires ils sont venus la tondre le lendemain. La literie était vraiment toptop.lendemain.. locataires.

Estancia UTMB

La casa esta muy bien ubicada. Cerca de supermecado y a 5 min en coche de Chamonix. Sitio tranquilo con vistas al Montblanc. No echamos en falta nada: cocina bien, baños bien y para comer muy bien con mesa grande interior y otra exterior. A tener en cuenta: la casa es un adosado, es decir, son 2 alquileres diferentes y puedes tener "vecinos". Nosotros coincidimos con otra familia y sin ningun problema. Hay una habitacion en la parte inferior que es mas fria y humeda que el resto de la casa. Nosotros pusimos la calefaccion y sin problema.

Très bel endroit, avec accès direct aux ballades

Chalet agréable et vaste pour une famille, accès aux ballades sans voitures en partant du chalet, soleil à midi pour l’apéritif sur la terrasse, le jardin est un plus avec des enfants. Propreté des pièces communes, sanitaires,chambres, SDB ok. Gros bémol sur la propreté des ustensiles, vaisselle, micro ondes, bouilloire, plateaux .... ( nous avons abandonné le nettoyage du micro onde au vu de l’odeur à l’ouverture et avons dû récurer la bouilloire pour pouvoir l’utiliser. Le canapé est dans un état passable et il y a 1 chaise pour s’asseoir autour de la table ( sinon c’est sont des bancs) donc pour le confort .... Il faudrait aussi penser à remettre des couvercles adaptés au casseroles. Bémol aussi sur le fait d’avoir été prévenu que la parabole est orientée sur la télé anglaise le jour de notre arrivée par un email. Difficile aussi de communiquer avec la personne qui ouvre les lieux qui n’est pas d’une grande aide si il y a un souci ( wifi, télé ...) Mais j’insiste sur la propreté des communs ( partie nettoyée par une société) et du linge. Le prix de cette location est tout de même élevé et il est normal de s’attendre à un certain confort et propreté.

Le chalet Cosmos

Très bon séjour pour cette semaine du nouvel an où nous avons bien profité de ce très beau cadre montagnard, très calme. Néanmoins, l’annonce ne correspond pas à la réalité. En effet, il n’y a pas 3 salles de bain mais 2 salles de bain et un cabinet de toilette sans douche. Aussi plusieurs choses sont a réparer ou à remplacer : fuite sur le robinet de la cuisine, la literie dans la chambre du rez-de-chaussée où le matelas est fatigué et creuse au milieu, le lave-vaisselle, la vaisselle ainsi que la cafetière qui sont pas adaptés pour 8 personnes. Je précise que ces critiques ne sont pas négatives mais plutôt constructives et dans le but d’améliorer ce chalet qui est très agréable et très bien situé géographiquement. Merci
