our stay at Taman Sari Villas Lembongan was definitely value for money easy walking distance to Mushroom beach and many restaurants near by, the villas were comfortable and pool was a good staff very friendly breakfast was good.

Scammed by the owner

Our stay at Taman Sari Villas was below average. The rooms were very nice, the bathroom very much not so. Mold on the handles and dirty faucet/handles. No soap either. We were also scammed by the owner. We payed for one room with three people, meaning an extra bed was included. The owner wanted us to pay extra for the extra bed, and we declined and said that we’ve already payed for it. He then said an extra bed doesn’t fit in the room and offered us an extra room instead. At the end of our stay, the owner demanded us to pay for the extra room even though he offered it to us. We argumented against but he brought a friend who helped him stand their ground. The friend implied we were liars and the owner was an honest man: that he would never offer an extra room for free. In the end we understood that we wouldn’t leave this place without paying the extra money. We paid and we will never ever return.

When we arrived at the hotel, they told us our stay had been cancelled. We didn't know anything of it. The owner told us he had contact with hotels.com and that they told him we had cancelled but we send an email to confirm that we were coming.

Kunne ikke vært bedre!

Fantastisk opphold på paradisøya. Made (eieren) og familien var fantastiske, med en service og glede til en hver tid som er over all forventning. Det er 500 meter til nærmeste (og den beste) stranda. Før det går du forbi en haug av restauranter. Her anbefaler jeg the palm og Bali Hai. Sengen er veldig god, og en fin følelse når man trekker for myggnettingen. Føles som en himmelseng.

Perfect stay

I really enjoy our stay at Taman Sari. The room was amazing, it was clean and so well decorated. We had a problem with our first night reservation and in 5 minutes the owner founded us a room in another hotel on the other side of the road. We still could us the pool and all the facilities of Taman Sari until the day after when we came back at Taman Sari. The staff is very kind. You feel like home. I would go back there again for sure.
