Peaceful retreat on the lake

We visited during HS spring break which was a historically rainy time but was a welcomed get away with family. The place is located in a great location to enjoy the water, weather permitting. The house was very clean upon arrival helping make us feel welcomed. The screened in back porch is great to watch nature regardless of the weather. Upon recommendation of the host, we ate at Little Dave’s pizza which was great. Their menu is large enough to accommodate anyone. The dam is a very short drive away if you wanted to fish or hike. We plan to come back when the weather is more accommodating for water friendly activities.

Overall, a very nice place.

We had a little issue with the heat when we first arrived, but it was addressed immediately. The view is great, the house is comfortable and we saw deer and other wildlife every day.

Lovely getaway

We loved our stay! remote area overlooking the river a screened in porch with fire pit. Full kitchen pretty well stocked with utensils and dishes. Comfy bed and furniture. We had a great time!

Fantastic return visit

This was our second summer visiting this wonderful cabin by the lake and we found it to be just as perfect as last year. From the spacious, well appointed cabin right down to the provided s'mores ingredients prepared on the firepit in the screened in porch.porch

Family reunion

This lake house was beyond perfect. Lots of different sitting areas. The kayaks and all the water toys were one of our favorites. Loved the corn hole game. It's a good little walk to the water but it has steps with rails all the way down. The kitchen was completed with everything we needed. Six of us stayed and five others came to visit for the whole day. More than enough room.. thank you Staci for being a great host, always available for any questions we might have. A five star to me and our whole group

Great weekend trip to the lake with friends!!

We had an amazing time at this lake house. No need to bring much with you. They have everything you need from kitchen supplies, noodle and floats for the lake, chairs to just lounge in! Place was very clean and check in check out was super easy. Great peaceful views of the lake at night and neighbors were great! Definitely can’t wait to go back!

Lovely house by the water

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was ready & waiting for us. Being the holidays, having a working kitchen was important & this kitchen & supplies were there. The walking paths around were fun, as was hunting for fossils at the water's edge.

Beautiful view!!!

Communication with host was excellent and she worked hard to assist with our questions/concerns. Very quiet area during our sewing retreat and screened-in porch made for perfect sewing area with beautiful view.. Neighbors were close but we never knew they were home.

Great time had by all!

We booked this property for an end-of-the-summer getaway. We had a ball! the house had all we needed. Beds were comfortable and plenty of living space. The screened in porch with the indoor fireplace was our main hangout. Even though the temp was HOT, the fans and woods made it plenty comfortable for us. There were lots of games and lake “toys.” The grandkids loved the lily pad. The only issue for us, grandma & grandpa, that is, was the number of steps to the lake. Otherwise, perfect for us! Staci, the owner, was very nice and responsive.

Trip before school starts back!!

We had such a great and relaxing time. The house is so pretty and nicely furnished! It was very quiet and calm. Our dogs loved to wonder around. The stairs to the dock definitely gave us a good workout. My son loved the dock and seeing all of the fish! It was a great time had by all. Staci was super accommodating and helpful with the millions of questions that I had :). We will definitely be back (with a boat!)
