Hinsley Hall. A quiet & relaxing place to stay.

My stay was really good. Myself & some friends were having a reunion including afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff & they made us all feel very welcome. The hotel is set back away from the hustle and bustle of Headingly & is surrounded by tranquil gardens. We were very well looked after. Even the breakfast buffet was of an exceptional standard. Thank you to the staff of Hinsley Hall. My friends & I look forward to staying again in the future.

My recent one-night stay at Hinsley Hall was, unfortunately, a deeply unpleasant experience. The initial room I was assigned was shockingly dirty, featuring a soiled duvet and a bathroom bin overflowing with used sanitary products. While the evening receptionist was incredibly kind and relocated me to a cleaner room, it still fell short of acceptable cleanliness standards. The situation worsened at check-out when the two male receptionists were dismissive and rude, callously claiming they had inspected the original room and found no issues. Despite presenting photographic evidence, their attitude remained unchanged, leaving me feeling unheard and disrespected. Furthermore, the Hotels.com listing failed to mention Hinsley Hall's identity as a religious institution run by the Diocese of Leeds, with overt displays of Catholicism throughout the building, which might be a surprise to some guests. Ultimately, due to the unacceptable level of cleanliness and the dismissive attitude of the staff at check-out, I cannot recommend staying at Hinsley Hall.

Great location on the Headingley Road but set back so very peaceful. Very friendly staff, clean, excellent breakfast. Basic room but very reasonably priced and very clean. I will definitely be back

Stayed after a night at the arena. Warm, clean and comfortable, super friendly staff on the desk. Good variety of hot and cold breakfast. Quiet grounds lovely for overnight stay. Wish checkout was later. 10am is harsh after a late night. But overall good value for money.

It is a lovely classical looking building. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The twin plus room was large, lovely and warm with all we needed for a one night stay. The shower/bathroom was spotless and had free toiletries and super large fluffy white towels. Also a super breakfast, with plenty of choices to suit every need. We would definitely recommend Hinsley Hall and we have already booked to return. The drink station was fully stocked too.
