Unique, cozy, beautiful views, and forced/friendly interaction with other guests enjoying outdoor spaces set up to enjoy the sunrise/sunset. Ideally located, the lodge is a surprise gem for a place so close to the highway. The sprinklers however detracted from our stay with an alarming and hard to identify noise in the middle of the night, waking us up by hitting part of the window or the AC unit. Sleep is important!

More than expected! The grounds of the lodge have lovely shade trees, multiple seating areas, a stream, and a great view of Mono Lake. The room was spacious and clean. Check-in was fast. Yes, there is a bit of road noise, but we played ocean sounds on the phone and slept soundly.

While close to Tioga pass this is a noisy motel. It is right on Hwy 395. The mattress sasnt comfortable and the heater noisy. The A/C unit in the window should be removed since it is fall and it lets in cold air since it is not sealed in the window which is no good since 30ft from 395.

Clean room with comfortable bed. Places to sit to enjoy nature. Allows dogs. The negative, and it's a big one, is the sound of traffic all through the night and morning on nearby Hwy. 395. Despite the lovely view and setting, the rooms are just too close to the highway. This could be mitigated by investment in double- or triple-paned windows, which would keep out the noise.
