About this property
Unique Riverside Oasis Minutes to Downtown
Welcome to Edgewater Lodge. This riverside beauty offers panoramic views of the Wenatchee River and the surrounding Cascade Mountain Range. Envision yourself enjoying your morning coffee on the wrap-around deck, which offers ample space to relax while enjoying the gorgeous scenery that encompasses Leavenworth. While the exterior of the home is a treat in and of itself, the interior provides just as much of a 'wow' factor. This unique space is separated into three sections; a bunkhouse, a guest house, and the main portion of the home. Each space is connected by a breezeway, and despite the separation of these dwellings, everyone in your group will fall asleep under the same roof. This clever floor plan was designed with entertaining in mind but thoughtfully respects your privacy as well.
Let's start our tour off with the middle section of the home, otherwise known as the great room. The open kitchen, dining, and living areas make it the perfect commonplace for friends and family to gather together and create those special memories. The unobstructed windows make it possible for you and your guests to enjoy exceptional views of the river, even from the comfort of the couch.
The chef of the group will appreciate the gourmet kitchen, complete with everything needed to create signature dishes that can then be enjoyed at the generously-sized dining table set in the heart of the room. If dining al fresco is more your style, you can step out the door just off the kitchen and make use of the outdoor table, so long as you won't be too distracted by the exquisite views surrounding you. In case BBQ is more your speed, an outdoor grill is also provided, and no need to bring your own propane; we've got you covered!
There is no need to worry about any food spills either, as there is a laundry nook in the hallway just off the kitchen. In that same hallway, you'll also find the entrance to a ½ bath, and you'll likely notice a wooden ladder leading to a secret gem…a loft complete with a queen-sized bed that overlooks the great room. Venture along the railed wooden walkway that stretches the length of the common spaces below and take advantage of the personal reading nook, which truly is the best seat in the house.
When it comes time to reset and rewind, there are several sleeping arrangements to consider. Take the breezeway off one side of the main portion of the home, and you'll discover steps leading up to the bunkhouse; an intimate space complete with its own kitchenette and eating area. Across the hall, you'll have a choice between the bunk guest room or perhaps the second guest room, where a double bed can be found. Continue down the hallway and you'll stumble upon a full-sized bathroom and yet another bedroom with a queen-sized bed, deck access, and a small gas fireplace for your enjoyment. Each of these beds has a riverside view and is comfortably wrapped in our freshly laundered hotel-quality linens to enhance an amazing night's sleep.
If a more personal space is desired, the master suite on the opposing side of the home is the place to be. Here, you can expect to find a ¾ bathroom with a shower as well as a personal coffee bar/vanity, and another gas fireplace.
This exceptional estate provides everything you need to enjoy quality time away from home. Edgewater Lodge allows guests to enjoy nature without venturing too far away from the excitement of downtown. We look forward to seeing you!

We really enjoyed the view of the river and beautiful fall colors. The living area has comfortable seating. We had one person sleeping in the loft area, so the people sleeping in the side with three rooms liked having a small kitchen where they could be up early and have some coffee without waking up the person in the loft. The host was very responsive when we had a question. Thank you for the accommodations!

A dream vacation home with such a perfect setup. The bedrooms are in separate wings accessed via the roof-covered deck, which was perfect for the grandparents on one side and us with younger kids on the other side. We were able to get the kids to bed early in the separate wing while the adults could stay up and enjoy ourselves in the main living room / kitchen part of the house. It's the perfect setup for a family vacation! Proximity to and views of the Wenatchee river were excellent, and just a short 5min drive to town. We'll definitely try to return here next time we visit Leavenworth. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, only thing to keep in mind is it has a lodge feel, so don't expect an immaculate condition - it's cozy, well loved, and lived-in, but that's what makes it more enjoyable, that you don't fear living in it. We especially lovded the lofted catwalk and cozy reading chair with a view of the river. With that said, the entire home can only be accessed via stairs (15 steps), so be aware for those who require a single level. Unfortunately the dishwasher had issues during our 4-day stay, but that's nothing against the property. And the hot tub was a little dated and noisy while going thru its heating cycles, so might be due for a replacement in the next few years. Overall, everyone enjoyed their stay and we'd love to come back!

The house was just as described, clean, and well stocked with towels, bathroom and kitchen items. Important details were carefully thought of, like extra blankets, a fan, overhead lighting in the kitchen work area, and soft corners on the coffee table. The location is excellent, in terms of being close enough to the water that you can walk right in to the river, and having a great view of trees and nature. Guests should be aware that it is right next to the public boat launch and people will be floating by on inner tubes all day, so you are in full view. Rarely, a lost inner-tuber will pull up on your lawn. Also, it might look like it's close enough for a pleasant walk to town, but there is no sidewalk and the cars are very close. We did have a little bit of a problem with family members who found sleeping on the bunk beds difficult because they were very creaky and woke them up, and we lacked screens on some of the windows in bedrooms where there were no AC units so we couldn't get cool air at night. We asked the management company for help and they came by and helped us with the screens. Overall, it is a beautiful property, and it is very peaceful to sit on the porch facing the water in the early morning and see the wildlife (we saw deer, bald eagles, osprey and racoons) and the location is very convenient for driving into town and to the nearby Safeway grocery store and health food store.
The memories created here were everlasting. The snow surrounding the property just elevated the stay and the mornings could not have been more perfect. We saw an eagle fly by during the morning hours and deer walking the surrounding properties at night. The town was super close and grocery store. The cabin had all the amenities and was extremely cozy for everyone. Highly recommend!
