Welcome to RiverRun Chalet, a timeless riverfront retreat located in Plain, Washington. Situated right next to the Wenatchee River, the Chalet is set on a third of an acre with room for the whole family and friends. RiverRun offers a fully updated granite counter kitchen with stainless appliances, all new cookware, dishes, and kitchen gadgets. Everyone will sleep soundly in the two bedrooms and private loft, with extra space on the full sleeper sectional.
Enjoy a cup of coffee watching the tranquil, flowing river from the oversized deck. Later, roast marshmallows over the large fire pit on the river bank. With a roomy, level lawn and concrete bulkhead along the river, the RiverRun property provides a great space for outdoor play and steps right down to the river for easy access for kayaks and floats.

The Plain community has numerous hiking trails and private beaches, with spots up-river to float down to the Chalet in the summer. Cross-country skiing trails and snow-shoeing await you in the winter. In Plain, among other treasures, you’ll find a Just Plain Grocery, Plain Hardware (rent seasonal outdoor gear and enjoy a latte!), Plain Cellars, and Old Mill Cafe. Steven’s Pass Mountain Resort is only 30 minutes away to the west. 25 minutes to the east is the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth; a fantastic destination for festivals, shopping, and diverse dining options. Plus, Lake Wenatchee is only a short drive away for swimming, boating, water skiing, golfing...did we mention horseback riding and zip lining?

Paradise in the Mountains!

Beautiful property with all the amenities you need! Located in a cute neighborhood with all the privacy you need! Quiet area and people are respectful of each other! Spacious enough to accommodate our group. The jacuzzi was clean as well as the rest of the Cabin! There is an outside bathroom as well. And the River… I couldn’t have asked for better accommodations ! Very Close to Lake Wenatchee and fish lake. The drive to Leavenworth was pretty easy. The little town of plane is absolutely adorable and has everything you need from food to shopping.! Would definitely recommend this place

I want to live here!

Me, my husband and 11 year old son came here on a work/pleasure trip. So we were looking for something quiet, enjoyable, restful, good WiFi and close to espresso lol. This place was so perfect and I feel like we hit the VRBO jackpot. The location is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees and nestled against the river. 7 min away you hace a cafe and grocery store with delicious coffee and friendly locals. The cabin itself had everything. It was clean, comfortable abd had a bunch of extras such as a hot tub, BBQ, Roku, yard games, fire pit and even little things like aluminum foil, ziplock bags, tons of cutlery and cookware, full kitchen, spices, oil, pool towels, extra blankets, portable heaters, portable fans, washer and dryer... and so much more. The host was responsive and polite. This is the best VRBO we've ever been to.

Amazing summer weekend

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated and appointed. The riverfront views and scenery were spectacular. Loved being close to Plain Hardware and the boys enjoyed biking through the neighborhood. Hot tub and fire pit made for memorable evenings. We’ll be back.

Such a cozy, well stocked home. Beautiful inside and out. Loved the hot tub, we lucked out and had no neighbors on either side of us! The firepit, porch, river... I mean, what more can you ask for? The outside bathroom by the hot tub was awesome. Comfy beds and living room area. One of the best smaller places we've stayed at. Thank you!!

Cabin Experience with Comforts of Home

We wanted to get away into the mountains with our kids for a few days and have a quiet cabin experience. The cabin was perfect. The hot tub was excellent and the river was peaceful. While there are neighboring cabins close by, we still felt we had the seclusion we wanted. I would definitely book again. Cassie was great at helping us with the reservation and all we needed on short notice. Would recommend 5/5!

Perfect family cabin!

We came from Oahu, Hawaii. It was our first time to the Continent, as a family. We absolutely loved the cabin and it's location. It was beautiful and so peaceful. We built a snowman, sat by the fireplace and enjoyed the sounds of the river. We drove into Leavenworth for the Reindeer Farm and walked around the town. Thank you for the cozy cabin.

Relaxing weekend at the river!

This place was clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the river with plenty of seating on the deck and grass. Cabin was fully equipped with everything needed for a weekend away. AC and fans kept the temp inside nice and cool. We will be back!

Truly was riverfront! Very cute cabin setting. Plenty of sleep accommodations. The community was lovely. Our only wish was for AC. With temps in the 90s the upstairs was almost unbearable. We will come back for SURE if that gets remedied!
