This charming cottage is set within a historic estate built in 1820. The Domaine de la Maison Neuve is surrounded by fields where dairy cows and horses roam. This historic home has witnessed many wartime events. It served as a German command post from 1940 to 1944, then as an American command post in June and July 1944. Dwight Eisenhower’s first headquarters is less than 2 kilometers away. La Maison Neuve is the perfect base for exploring the D-Day landing sites. The cottage is just 20 minutes from Omaha Beach and the medieval city of Bayeux.



Enjoy peace and relaxation in the 33,000-square-meter garden and a private terrace where you can dine in complete tranquility. You have full access to the entire property.

Nous avons passé 5 jours formidables dans cette maison paradisiaque. Pleine de caractère et décorée avec goût. Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup d’hospitalité et nous ont fait comprendre que nous faisions partie intégrante de l’ensemble du domaine. Tout était à notre disposition. Une petite maison aménagée avec raffinement et élégance, où l’on pouvait se détendre, une véritable oasis au milieu de tous ces sites touristiques situés à proximité. Les plages du débarquement en Normandie, le Mont-Saint-Michel, Bayeux, Caen, Honfleur et la magnifique nature environnante. Un emplacement idéal pour se créer des souvenirs inoubliables.
