Room was generally clean. Breakfast was average at best. Room and corridor smelled like marijuana. Very convenient location, good pricing.
Easy check in, shuttle drivers polite and fast. Would stay there again.
Overall was good experience
They “offer” airport shuttle pick up but we waited for 35-40 minutes after calling ahead of time to request it. Guy never showed up. When in called to check in the status the worker just told me that I had to wait longer. We ended up having to take a taxi.
Not good area and limited shuttle services
The beds were great. This is a good place to stay when you need a place close to the airport to stay overnight. The shuttle was convenient, the night's sleep was refreshing, and the breakfast was good.
Um - wow. The only people who should EVER use this hotel are those who need to stay near JFK overnight and want a free shuttle. The shuttle took a while to arrive, (one man who ended up on my shuttle said he'd been waiting for an hour). The rooms are gross - there was an updated sink, and everything else looked like it was from the 1950s. If this had been an $80 room I would have expected that. But for $300, I would have liked much better. That said, it saved me the cost of getting a cab to a hotel farther away. Would I use it again for JFK overnight? "yes". Would I complain about it's deficiencies the whole time?, also "yes"
The morning staff was nice and and the cleaning lady was nice but at night when we arrived we called for the shuttle and he told me very fast with a heavy accent where to wait for 1 hour. So I clarified with the airport where to get the hotel shuttles and we waited for 1 hour then I called and he told me I was wrong and it would be another 45 minutes so I just took an uber. The hotel is dirty and musty but the room was clean but smelled of mold. The bed was so squeaky that if either of us tossed in the night we both woke up. But I never heard a plane in the night. In the morning we opened the window for some fresh air and and the planes were right over our head it was kind of cool to watch.
The only thing i would like to see is more items for breakfast
One of two clerks at registration was disrespectful and brusque. The other clerk was quite good, calm and helpful.
This is a dumpy, stinky, depressing motel. But the real travesty is that it somehow cost $250/night.
Ok
