WhidbeyBeachHouse is an oceanfront home located on a private beach in Langley on Whidbey Island. This custom-built home has a 180° ocean view from the open concept first floor with living, dining and kitchen. A wrap-around deck furnished with Adirondack chairs is perfect for relaxing as you gaze and listen to the ocean, where you can watch for wildlife including whales and bald eagles. On clear nights the skies light up with a brilliance of stars.
Our home has two floors, on the ground floor there is the kitchen, living room, a full bathroom, and a bedroom. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, an office/yoga room, and another full bathroom. All bedrooms have Queen memory foam mattresses, extra blankets and pillows.
WhidbeyBeachHouse is equipped with high-speed internet, a library of books about Whidbey Island, a selection of board games, puzzles, toys, and children's books. We also have picnic essentials such as a picnic basket and blanket for you to have your own beachside picnic!
For wildlife lovers, Gray Whales travel through Saratoga Passage, feeding on Ghost Shrimp in the Spring as part of their migration. Orcas also travel through Saratoga Passage, and Seals harbor nearby at Baby Island. For birdwatchers, Bald Eagles, Herons, and Kingfishers are just a few of our winged friends that like to visit.
We love to keep it local, throughout WhidbeyBeachHouse you will see touches from local businesses, artists, and authors. WhidbeyBeachHouse is 15 minutes drive to downtown Langley, Bayview and Freeland, and a little farther are Greenbank and Coupeville.

Ground floor:
The kitchen is stocked with supplies and appliances, along with a selection of coffee and teas. The kitchen counter has seating for 2, and there is a dining table for 4 in front of french doors that open onto the deck for al fresco dining. There are also two armchairs for sipping a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. The living room has a large sectional sofa that is comfy for both sea-gazing and catching a game on the 65" HD flat screen Smart TV with fuboTV (140+ channels including local, news, 100+ sports).
The ground floor bedroom with a Queen bed has a unique pocket-door which provides a suite experience with access to a full bathroom. This bedroom also has its own entrance with a one-step porch to the garden, which has been planted with lavender bushes, an apple tree, and various flora.

Second floor:
The airy loft bedroom on the second floor has a Queen bed and high vaulted ceilings with windows that takes advantage of the 180° ocean view, where you can awaken to gorgeous sunrises (or there are blinds if you want to sleep in). This loft bedroom also overlooks onto the first floor open common area. Down the hall is another bedroom with a Queen bed and a window that looks out onto the front garden, with its own 42" HD flat screen Smart TV with fuboTV.
The second floor full bathroom with a shower which fills with natural light from a skylight. The dedicated ocean view office/yoga room furnished with desk, chair and yoga mats/blocks, making WhidbeyBeachHouse excellent for remote work and personal retreat.
