Nice place but dirty

The place itself is nice and quiet. Sadly there were ants and some type of crumbs in the bed. Also wifi password was incorrect. We had to look on the router for it.

Underwhelming

It’s an absolutely lovely property, private and close to Langley. When we arrived there were cleanliness issues: including ants, partially filled single use containers, coffee grounds in all of the drawers, and stains on the walls to name a few things… The property is so lovely, you’d expect it to be a place of refuge, but the beds are small, there are no rugs (just concrete floors), and everything is very shabby - pots, pans, couches, etc. It just wasn’t cozy. These things were not the biggest issue though… The biggest problem with this house is the septic smell from the water.

Beautiful hidden gem

This property was like something out of a fairytale book. The property is so serene and peaceful. Id love to come back in thr spring or summer where we could have more daylight hours to enjoy the beauty of it all.

This is Paul Hand, beautiful garden, setting and cottage

The setting and location are perfect and the cottage itself is very nice. The kitchen supplies are quite limited, however. We had to purchase a sharp, knife, olive oil, and several other things that would be standard. It would be good to assess how the kitchen is stocked And update from time to time.

Quiet beautiful retreat in nature

This is our second time staying in Rhythm Waters. It is a special place. We played lawn games, board games inside and on the patio, watched a movie, enjoyed the hot tub, had a cookout on the grill, roasted s’mores on the fire pit, and took plenty of short trips around the island. We were visited by plenty of birds, and it was totally private once we were in the house. For preparation, do bring some bug spray and citronella candles to ward off mosquitos, and drinking water since the house is on well water.

Lovely hidden gem

This was such a relaxing getaway from city living. The kids loved wandering the magical property, spent afternoons in Langley and at the beachs, and then evenings in the hot tub. No one wanted to leave!

Excellent Place for Langley Murder Mystery Weekend

My family and I were looking for a VRBO property to stay in during Langley's Murder Mystery Weekend, and Rhythm Waters was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet house in the woods just a few minutes drive from downtown Langley, we were able to take our time driving in for the festivities, then easily get back to look over clues and relax. Didn't have to eat out with a full kitchen available, and the one master bed and two beds in the loft gave the whole family a place to sleep. And while some of us were watching a movie on the large screen tv, others were enjoying a soak in the hot tub. If you're looking for a secluded place less than 10 minutes drive to Langley, you should really consider Rhythm Waters.

Rhythm Waters is a very special place. The beautiful gardens create a perfect atmosphere for quiet and serenity. It is a great place to connect with your loved one and soak in Mother Nature’s beauty. We will be back!

Wonderful Experience

This property is incredible - the house is lovely and comfortable and well-equipped, the gardens are impeccable, and everything was exactly as described. We had a wonderful time and would certainly stay again. Only downsides were minor: the beds aren’t particularly comfortable and we felt the communication with the property manager about expectations during a power outage could have been better. Neither would keep us from recommending this special place to our friends and family - it’s a gem.

Perfect spot for rest and relaxation.

Grounds and home were beautiful. Great hot tub. We missed the garden in full bloom by just a couple of weeks but it was still an amazing property. Our dog had an unfortunate accident on the spiral staircase and cut her leg pretty badly. I actually had to leave the island to find a vet willing to see her and get her stitched up. Not blaming the property owner in any way, just want to warn others to be extremely careful on these stairs with their pets and children. I don’t want anyone to have to go through that experience again. Overall it was an amazing place and would totally recommend it for some peace and quiet.

We really enjoyed the jacuzzi on a cool evening. The property is appealing, the ponds and landscaping well maintained. We found the appliances we needed - toaster, coffee maker, Rabbit cork puller - functional and clean.

Magical forest retreat

Had a great time at Rhythm Waters! The landscaping is fantastic, like something out of a fairy tale. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. Hot tub is great. Will def come again!

TRANQUIL PERFECTION!

This has got to be the best property that we have ever stayed at in the US! The grounds were simply magical and serene. The house was truly perfect in so many ways! We loved the size of the home because it was just the 2 of us. We were able to have family over for lunch and breakfast a couple of times. It is also perfect for a family or 2 couples. This is a place that we will definitely be coming back to for our next visit to the PNW. Everyone at Tara Rentals was also extremely helpful and responsive. This was one of the most relaxing environments that I have experienced and I am so grateful that we found it!

Great oasis centrally located in South Whidbey

Great place nestled in South Whidbey. Easy to drive to, it was a gorgeous place to relax, get away and enjoy the beautiful landscaping. Things were clean and would definitely recommend staying here.

Five Days in Dreamland

From our first view of the lush gardens of Rhythm Waters to our reluctant farewell, we felt as if we were in a beautiful dream. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. Every window offers a view of Japanese maples that catch the light at different times of day, rhododendrons still in full bloom and a sweep of lawn fringed by tall evergreens. We fell asleep to the sound of the trickling stream. The house is close to the Clinton ferry dock and the town of Langley and a great vantage point for exploring South Whidbey. I was surprised to find another vacation rental right next door, but we never heard the occupants once we were in the house, which is otherwise secluded and quiet. The property management company was available and responsive to several questions that arose during our stay. We are already scanning the calendar for a possible return.!
