Rustic Elegance: Tipi Glamping by Wind River Mountains in Fort Washakie

Stay at the base of the Wind River Mountains in a glamping style tipi, with 2 double beds. You will be so close to all kinds of activities. 5 miles from Sacagawea's gravesite, within walking distance from Hines General Store and the Wind River Trading Post, 9 miles to the Shoshone Rose Casino, and 6 miles to the Wind River Wild Horse Sanctuary.



It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one-of-a-kind. Sleep at the base of the Wind River Mountains in tipis!! A true unique Native American experience. Remember this is a campground so there will be noises of outside, bugs (ex. Mosquitoes), and outdoor elements like wind and rain. To better accommodate for these common annoyances of the outdoors, we provide bug spray, diffusers, propane heaters, powered fans, and more. If you want a rustic outdoor camping experience this is for you!



The space

This Tipi has 2 double beds We provide all bedding and linens, towels, as well as extra blankets for those chilly nights, a few bottles of drinking water (there is a grocery store close), propane heaters, and battery powered fans for the warmer days.



Guest access

There is no need for a check in you can enter your assigned tipi at any time. A host will not be there to greet you, however if you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out.

Please help yourself to the grills on the shed deck, fire pits, cornhole boards, and games.



Please remember the campground is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, injuries obtained during the stay, or animal or insect encounters. Please remember at all times this is a campground and you are camping outdoors. Please DO NOT leave food out.

There is a portable toilet, as well as a shower for your use. Directions on the shower are in your book in the tipi.
The accommodation is heated and features a patio and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a desk, a desk chair, and a dining table.
