There was trash in the garbage can. I wouldn't sit on the couch no ice machine. It just wasn't a nice place to stay.

They were doing some remodeling, so there were nails and screws on the ground. The water was sulfur-y so we couldn’t shower. But other than that, the hotel was really nice. The town doesn’t have much offer though. My fiancé’s fire training got canceled, so we left a day early.

The town is cute and friendly. The hotel was dated and musty. Definitely in need of TLC. It was quiet and the bed was ok.

Most importantly the check-in was great, staff super nice and the room was clean. It is a dated facility and looks like it is in the process of slowly being updated. It is perfect for a quick overnight stay. Yes, I would stay there again.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Don’t stay at the Lakeview Lodge Motel. The room was horrible! Here is why: the bathroom was a disaster. The sink faucet wasn’t fastened to the sink, the bath towels looked like shop rags, the shower had so many repairs it was all stained and dirty, plumbing line for the bathroom was on the outside wall in the room…weird. Furniture was not the best there were two desk type chairs and one was broken. Then the bed linen was stained and looked used. We went to the manager, Mike, and told him our complaints and he disagreed with us and said we would have to contact Expedia to get a refund. That was not true, I called Expedia and they call the property and talked to Mike and he told Expedia that the room was very clean and refused to give us a refund. So bottom line my suggestion to you is stay away from the Lakeside Lodge Motel in Lakeside, Oregon.

Clean room and helpful staff

It's not new and modern, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was really attentive - more than you would get at most motels. I'd stay again.
