This home is a wonderful option for large groups, with plenty of space and a fantastic location right on the lake. We had seven families in our group, and while six had private bedrooms, one stayed in a pass-through hallway room. This space doesn’t have a closet or drawers, and the vanity and mirror are located outside the bathroom. The hallway room also has two separate bathrooms, each with a toilet and shower. Future guests may appreciate knowing this in advance. The lake setting is beautiful, and the shallow water (about 300 ft before waist-deep) makes it perfect for little kids or paddleboarding. The house is very roomy, and having two refrigerators was a huge plus for storing all our food.A few things could make the stay even better: regular pest control (we noticed a couple of hobo spiders), garbage cans in each room, extra extension cords since most outlets are two-prong, and a note that the fire pit is no longer available. Some bathrooms could use a deeper clean, and the tubs drained slowly. We also couldn’t get Netflix to work on any account, though other TV and streaming apps worked fine.We visited during Raspberry Days, which was busy but full of fun activities. Overall, this is a spacious home in a beautiful location, and with a few updates, it could be an even more fantastic stay for large families.
