Cabin 5 — Intimate Queen Cabin with Covered Porch

Hidden Rest Cabin 5 is an intimate queen-bed retreat filled with warm wood, playful bear-and-plaid décor, and the relaxed personality of a traditional mountain cabin. It is an appealing choice for couples or solo travelers seeking a simple, comfortable home base for exploring the White Mountains.

The open studio layout includes a queen bed, television, comfortable chair, compact dining counter, and an efficient kitchenette. Guests have access to a stove, sink, microwave, coffee maker, cabinetry, and meal-preparation space. The covered front porch includes seating and looks out toward the property’s trees, giving guests a pleasant place to begin the morning or relax before dinner.

Cabin 5’s strongest qualities are its cozy scale, authentic wood-lined interior, and convenient location within the Hidden Rest cabin grounds. The exterior is traditionally sided, but the interior provides the warm wooden atmosphere associated with a rustic cabin stay.

Cabin 5 does not have a fireplace or private hot tub. Guests can enjoy the shared hot tub located behind Cabin 12 inside the pergola. Shared-hot-tub access is subject to posted rules, operating hours, maintenance, weather, and availability.

The Show Low, Lakeside, and Pinetop area provides year-round opportunities for outdoor recreation and mountain-town fun. Depending on the season, guests can hike, fish, boat, watch wildlife, explore scenic forest roads, visit Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area, walk around Woodland Lake Park, or discover the White Mountain Nature Center. Local restaurants, cafés, shops, and seasonal events can be found throughout the surrounding communities.

A $95 cleaning fee applies per stay.

A $50 pet fee covers up to two pets per stay. Guests traveling with more than two pets should message us before booking so we can accommodate the reservation properly.

Special-occasion preparations may be available with at least 72 hours’ notice. Additional charges may apply depending on the requested setup and availability.
