Absolutely amazing and beautiful place! John and Jackie truly thought of everything to make this place a charming relaxing getaway. The views throughout the home are stunning! Will definitely be back! Host was very communicative and kind though out the booking process

The house was just as pictured. Very clean, everything in good condition. The property was quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed seeing the sunrise from the big picture windows. Cleaning supplies were a little bit lacking, especially for travel with children, but overall we had a great experience!

Beautiful getaway

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful and unique cabin, and we had a wonderful time. We especially loved the wooded view out the gorgeous windows in back. We would absolutely stay here again!

Very nice cabin in a great location

We had a short getaway to the northeast Georgia mountains. The location was close to towns, lakes and state parks in the area. After excursions it was great to return to such a nice cabin to rest and cook dinner.

Absolutely amazing!!

John and Jackie have an awesome "cabin" located in a beautiful place! There's everything you need and they're gracious hosts! The smart home is amazing and the hot tub was wonderful. We definitely will be returning in the future!!!

It’s a lovely spot. The hosts have furnished the cabin thoughtfully. The stars at night are amazing. Plenty of space despite being small. Comfortable beds, lovely window view. Nice TV, hot tub and firepit. We hope to return!

Fall Getaway

The property was perfect for our family of four and our dog. We visited the area for a few days of hiking and exploring the North Georgia mountains. The amenities were awesome. The outdoor space was great and we loved all of the little touches. The kitchen with everything we needed to cook, the electric blinds that we opened to a beautiful view each morning, the holiday decorations, etc. Great place!

Modern cabin with style and comforts

This is a fantastic modern cabin that has a nice balance of rustic mountain atmosphere with modern design and comforts. It has a simple and clean style of architecture interior, exterior and landscaping with everything I could think of to make our stay pleasant and relaxing. We had a great experience here and are now planning to forego traditional log cabins for this more modern approach.

A gem near Clayton downtown

If you're searching for a comfortable and luxurious getaway, this place is an excellent choice. The house is like a stylish hotel suite, and there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit and jacuzzi by the house. The living room and bedroom windows provide a stunning view of the mountains. The space is so comfortable that you could spend your entire day relaxing indoors. The shower's water pressure is fantastic, and the bathroom speaker allows you to connect your favorite music while enjoying a hot shower. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the utensils and spices you need. We also enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi at night and making s'mores at the fire pit. The location is less than 10 minutes from Clayton downtown, which has many cute shops and restaurants. We highly recommend checking out Fortify Kitchen and Bar, where the service and food are both excellent. Don't forget to try their trout! John and Jacki were excellent hosts, providing clear directions for checking in and out of the house. Overall, this is the best place we've stayed at so far.

Zenplicity… pure Zen!

This listing is everything it promises and more! Pristinely clean and very thought out design. If you love modern decor and minimal design, this is the place to stay. John has supplied all the needs for a home away from home experience. We stayed for a week and rarely left the cabin. We opted for all meals in house and were not disappointed with the spacious kitchen, top notch appliances, and all the accessories one could want. The fire pit area is fantastic! A very large wood-burning pit surrounded by Adirondack seating, a picnic table, and games. The hot tub would have been a wonderful experience, but we never opted to use it. Access to Clayton for supplies and groceries is an easy 10 minutes to Wal-Mart, Ingles, and other shopping, dining needs. The magnificent Tallulah Gorge State Park is a quick 5 minutes from the cabin and a MUST SEE if you love the outdoors. We’ve opted to stay in STR for several years while vacationing. This listing is above and beyond any properties we’ve experienced. Definitely a five-star experience! We’ll likely be back in the future!
