we loved this spot! the only thing i would say is the picture from penrose park of the hammock and water had us a little confused because we thought the cabin itself was on the water - but the spot itself is adorable and delightful!

Amazing!
Easy process to check in. The cabin was probably even better than advertised. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay and longer. Really close to 2 state parks. We got to see a deer in the yard our first morning and what looked like a big sea otter running though at night. Highly recommend!!!!

Cozy & Perfect Stay
My daughter and I had a perfect stay at the Magic Lantern tiny house. The design was perfect for maximizing space (it didn’t feel small at all!) and all the windows really brought nature in. We enjoyed eating berries off the vine and watching the chipmunks and birds do the same. Penrose State Park has a wonderful beach (turn right at the T for the best access) as well.

Beautiful forest getaway
Get away from it all in a charming tiny home cabin (that doesn’t feel at all tiny). Extremely clean, well appointed, light filled, comfortable cabin - in the woods but not completely isolated. Wildlife sightings, Penrose Point State Park very close. Responsive host. Green all around. Rejuvenating. My cousin visiting from LA, and I from Portland, LOVED our stay! Highly recommend!

Short family getaway
We stayed while in town for my step-son's wedding. While we didn't spend a ton of time in the house, the time we were there was amazing. The location was great, it was easy to find and was super cute! There were so many thoughtful touches the owner had added that made the stay perfect! We are already looking at dates to come back

This fabulous Tiny House is really not that tiny!
I am fascinated about tiny homes! Even more so after being here. When we walked I was so impressed that I messaged Michelle to see if we could stay a 3rd night.
Here’s what i didn’t expect from a Tiny Home:
* Two queen bedrooms!
* The master bedroom is on the main floor, next to the bathroom. It has a pull out TV, bed stands with reading lamps on both sides, lots of drawer and closet space to hang your clothes.
* A good sized bathroom with decent counter space and a very nice large shower.
* The second queen bedroom in the loft is accessed by stairs, not a ladder. It’s a good size room with lower ceiling clearance, but large enough for a little table.
* Dimmers on most all lighting.
* The large deck is partially covered and wraps around one side of the home with nice outdoor furniture and lighting.
* Lots of windows that open with forest views, high ceilings in most rooms make the home feel so much larger.
* A living room with comfortable seating and Smart TV where we could watch the Seahawks.
* ADA compliant (American Disability Act) .
The property is fabulously secluded. The driveway is lit up with festive white lights. The home is very clean, tastefully decorated, not cluttered. Drawers are labeled with access to extra extra blankets and pillows. Pots, pans and dishes are all in great condition and there are 3 ways to make coffee!
Michelle was great to communicate with and very quick with her responses. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Michelle!

Lakebay Cabin
Great place, secluded, restful. Communication was great with Michelle. Bring firewood for your stay there is a nice large fire pit.
This place was beautiful and amazing in every way. They thought of everything that you might need to make sure you're as comfortable as possible during your stay. Also the WiFi worked great for gaming and streaming for those lazy days of your vacation where you just wanna lounge around. Property is beautiful and straight out of a fairy tale. Extremely relaxing, I didn't want my vacation to end. Definitely going to have my eye out for this place on my next vacation

A truly magical place
We have stayed here before and the quiet serenity never disappoints. Michelle and Roger have thought of everything for a true retreat away.
All of the details are so thought out, it seemed the deer greeting us upon arrival was planned. He stuck around to make sure we got unloaded ok and then hopped back into the woods, checking on us throughout our stay.

Family Connection Spot
This place was adorable and perfect for our needs. Myself my hubs and our daughters 7and 8. They Loved the loft bedroom and especially the mini fridge which could literally fit a couple capri suns, an apple, and yeah,a package of microwave popcorn. The beds are super comfy, the entire place is very clean and it is just an all around magical place. The living room is tiny, which was just fine for us. We spent a lot of time on the cozy covered porch playing cards and just being together. My daughter Juniper spent literally hours picking blackberries on the property and both the girls had a blast just exploring all the sweet magic. The water is so close. We spent our 1 full day at the bay playing in the water and exploring the beautiful trails. This was just what our little family needed right before the the start of the school year. The kitchen is stocked with decent knives (we have learned to pack our own just in case)along with tongs and all the other kitchen essentials. My hubs has been a cook for 25yrs so this is essential for us. One thing to note, the main road is closer than expected so there is some traffic noise during the day. This was not an issue for us, however if youre looking for a zen getaway, it may be distracting. Also, the local tiny mart is astronomically over priced. So come completely prepared. It is just basically a gas station without the gas and we had to pay $10 for a bag of marshmellows! So bring all the things! Overall, loved it!!!
