Excellent staff. Super courteous and attentive. Grounds and pools could use some updating to make this resort top notch. Plus an affordable more casual breakfast/lunch restaurant would be ideal. Bearline Cafe had extremely rude service (miserable woman running register, not who you want to get your coffee from) and grocery items were sparse. Overall this is a nice resort in a beautiful area with amazing staff.

Amazing stay, food, drinks, overall amazing place to spend a weekend with the family. Rooms are clean,little old compared to other higher end properties but then service the hotel provides makes up for it. Only thing i would love for my next stay is for them to update the TV’s

I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but this place managed to earn it We booked an overnight stay as a quick little getaway before my daughter started school. The hotel itself was nice enough. The room looked like it had survived the early 2000s untouched, but it got the job done We chose valet parking for convenience, despite the $65 fee. When I went to pick up my car, the valet had lost my backup keys. And the reaction was like a shrug, like I’d just told them they were out of ketchup packets They promised to file a claim and follow up. Spoiler: they didn’t. Ive had to chase them down. Losing someone’s keys isn’t just a minor inconvenience, it’s a security issue, especially if you’ve got personal or sensitive stuff in your car And here’s the kicker: they still charged me for valet. They lose my keys, act like it’s no big deal, never follow up, and then bill me for it? Yeah, no thanks I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values professionalism, or their car keys

Hotel is nice, but weddings take over a huge chunk of the resort grounds. The kids play area and patio are replaced with a giant tent. Loud music plays until late, and if you're using the gym you'll be doing so in front of hundreds of wedding guests. I'd think such a large property could find a better place to host the weddings. Charging guests a $50 daily resort fee while repurposing many of the resort amenities (especially for families with kids) is pretty callous.

Not So Great This Time Around

We have stayed at this resort several times and overall really love it. The room is always nice and the pool is excellent. This time around though the bathroom was not great. Super small and the shower might have been the worst we’ve ever experienced. Zero water pressure (basically a trickle) and was lukewarm at best. Really disappointing considering this is not a cheap place to stay. Also the second night we were blessed with the noisiest and most thoughtless across the hall neighbors ever. Completely ruined both the evening and the next morning (super loud in the hall late at night and then woke early to screaming children). We’ve always liked this resort for its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, such a bummer.

Great property and stay, but be prepared to walk a ways from the parking lot if you don't choose valet parking. There are also no designated resort guest parking spots so you are sharing them with event guests, which was always full. Otherwise, great location and quiet with great food.
