Where do I begin! From the first conversation to the last, everything was absolutely perfect! The communication, the rental itself, the decoration, the cleanliness, and the personal touch that was given. Overall a great stay and will definitely want to stay again.

Quick overnight stay

High ratings for cleanliness. The condo is an end unit upstairs and so it is very private and quiet. Despite being upstairs, because it is on a mountain, the front is nearly ground level which made it extremely easy to enter the property. Parking was super convenient. We have high standards and this rental met or exceeded expectations. We will definitely ask for this unit again next time visiting Lake Lure.

Summer Vacation at Rumbling Bald

The studio was small but fine for my daughter and I and we loved that we were allowed to bring our dogs. It was well appointed and clean and a great location only a few minutes drive from all the amenitites at Rumbling Bald. The only advice I would give is if you are planning to use the pull out couch, make sure to bring a camp cushion or other supplemental cushion - that made all the difference in a good night's sleep on the pull out couch.

Relaxing and Clean

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. We have been visiting the villas for decades and this one is at the top of the list. Very clean and comfortable furniture. Great porch with very nice chairs to read/relax, and table set for dining and games! We'll be back!

I was not able to stay due to poor communication, I never received any correspondence regarding a code to get in to the so called cabin, which was also false advertising I believed I was renting a cabin and it turned out to be a condo. I still had no code to get in and had to rent a room in Lake Lure. When I returned home on September 24 I only then found an email with a code I had already left for the vacation and did not take a computer with me. I was on my phone the day I arrived trying to get a code to get in sent to my phone and that never happened. I am disputing this with my credit card company and Verbo. This was a very disapointing experience.

Two night stay at this homey spot. Exceptionally clean!! Everything you need, every base covered. Very comfortable bed too. The cozy outdoor covered patio was a great spot for morning coffee.

End of Summer Family Trip

With one newly graduated Senior, and one more headed back to High School very quickly. Summertime was fast escaping us. We wanted and needed a Family Trip that would cover all interests and provide the comfort of home. The Apply Valley unit was just the place. All the comforts of home nestled in the beautiful mountains. From the moment we walked into the front door all the way to the back patio we were engulfed beautiful scenic views, and all the conveniences of home. The monopoly game on the back porch deck to that cup of morning coffee each moment was spent together. The resort amenities had something for everyone. Games, fishing, swimming, and great food. The entire family enjoyed our stay. Thank you for opening your home to our family. We will definitely be returning.

Great Mountain Getaway!

This was the perfect little place for a mountain getaway! It was so conveniently located to the Rumbling Bald Resort and everything Lake Lure had to offer! We had an issue with the WiFi when we got there but the hosts responded quickly and got the issue resolved for us in a timely fashion! They aren't kidding when they say intermittent cell service but we were able to do everything we needed with the WiFi. It was a great experience overall! We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Lake Lure Getaway!

My husband & I and our dog enjoyed our short stay at this cute & cozy villa. The unit was clean, comfortable & nicely stocked with all of the essentials. We especially loved sitting out on the back deck overlooking the woods…such a peaceful spot! The villa was a perfect home base during our visit to beautiful Lake Lure. Rumbling Bald Resort is lovely & has some great amenities to offer, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy them. Overall, a wonderful experience & we’d definitely book again for a future visit!

Short and Sweet

Only spent one night here but overall good experience. A little issue with internet but was solved quickly. If you don't mind waking up to the sounds of roosters and other birds and having connecting terrace with your neighbors, this is a great place to stay in Rumbling Bald. Amazing amenities and golf course!

Lovely Condo

This is a beautiful condo, has everything one needs. Nicely located, too. Very near the Rumbling Bald Resort, if you are interested in that. Very quiet area, especially in February. The owner was available for any problems. No problems except the TV, and that was our fault for not knowing now to operate the remote.
