Stayed an entire week end of July. The home was super clean and comfortable. The enclosed front porch was wonderful and we spent most of our time out there. The view ,even with the fire smoke, was amazing and breathtaking. A short walk led to a nice quiet beach with plenty of sand and swimming areaThe host communicated well and answered all my questions promptly. As it was our first time in are I had a lot of questions and he answered them all patiently Highly recommend

Shores of Lake Superior

Even better than described, this home is feet from the lake with unobstructed views from all rooms! Very clean and comfortable furnishings with well stocked kitchen. Loved the windowed/screened in room overlooking Lake Superior. Todd was very quick to respond to texts and the location was ideal to explore other areas on Keweenaw Peninsula.

Beautiful view, cozy spaces

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy property on Lake Superior! The home is in a beautiful, peaceful setting—right on the lake, with stunning views and easy water access just down the road. The real highlight is the screened porch, the perfect place to start your morning with coffee or wind down in the evening with a book or cocktail.The house itself is well-equipped and comfortable, with plenty of room for relaxing after a day of adventure. While some parts of the property show a bit of wear, everything was clean and functional, and the character added to the cozy, lived-in feel.We loved that it was a great base for exploring the Keweenaw and other parts of the UP—close enough for easy day trips but tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. It's not in the middle of any of the towns, which was exactly what we were looking for.Would definitely recommend for anyone seeking a quiet, lakeside escape with plenty of opportunities to explore!

Great Stay

It was so nice to come back and spend time in our old neighborhood and reconnect with friends. Sitting on the porch staring at the Big Lake was as awesome as ever. House was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Great location; out of the way but also close to a lot of great spots like Calumet and Houghton. Place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Great proximity to the water and local park.

Extra Long Weekend

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious cottage with comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. The waves lulled us to sleep each night. An abundance of stars dazzled us at night. We explored all the small towns of the peninsula. Beautiful views from the screened porch.

Anniversary on Lake Superior

Excellent view. Luckily enough to see the full moon rising over the lake as well as the morning sun rise each day. Simply Breathtaking. Loved the sun porch ! Would rent agin.

Another Great Stay

This was my 3rd time staying here and each time has been great. View and location is great, place is always clean and has all essential amenities. I look forward to another stay here. Only improvement to be made is replace a couple of windows that have fog. Best part of the rental is the sun room.

Relaxing stay on the lake

When we arrived at the house we went immediately to the back porch to see the views of the lake. We weren't disappointed! We even got to experience a full rainbow over the water for quite some time. The house isn't far from things to see on the peninsula. It is very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing while listening to the waves.

Cute and clean - a great find!

This place was very easy to stay in, and clean and comfortable! The owner was extremely responsive. The porch was the best! When you can wake up to a gorgeous Superior sunrise with coffee on the porch - can’t beat it!! We will stay again and recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect Getaway

This cottage on Lake Superior is perfect! The home has an open floor plan, is clean and comfortable, and close to many local attractions. We love walking the beach with our dogs and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Cozy cottage in a great location.

From beautiful views of Lake Superior to the perfect location for our activities (charter fishing, quilt shops, visiting with a local friend), this cottage was perfect. We were able to make the cottage a great living space. Nice size kitchen, living room (with a view), and comfy beds. Todd, the host, was quick to respond to a concern I had just before we arrived.
