Great get away from the city of LA

Love it love it love it. Kids loved it and we did too. The house was a great get away from the city life, the view, the quiet and the simple fact that everything we wanted to go do is less than 10mins away driving was a big plus. Everything in the house worked great.Too great may I say that the A/C in the house had to turned off for a few hrs because of got too cold inside, knowing outside was HOT. The drive to the location of the house was super easy to find and get to. It is also pet friendly home but make sure to keep your dog on a leash when taking out side during the or night, you have to remember there is wildlife that can hurt your pet and you. We are most definitely going to this location again and again and again, hopefully even in the winter when it snows. The biggest thing I appreciated from the location was the communication with the host of the place, very informative and quick to respond. Thank you to the host and for the place, we will see you again.

Incredible view

Not only was the view of the lake incredible but the house was charming and had everything that we needed. There were lots of DVDs available but with a view like that, we hardly spent time inside. It was exactly as it was in the pictures. We would stay here again!

Nice view

Driveway getting there needs alot of work. Needs to be painted and there was bird poop everywhere. Only one bathroom upstairs and for little old ladies and 6 people that was rough. Dishes weren’t clean and I found trash in the trash cans. Disappointing for the money. Mattresses were good and the view is beautiful

Feeling Relaxed

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great getaway. Many movies to choose from. Propane BBQ was a good size. Grocery stores are 7 minutes away. Will consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful short break!

This property was perfect for our family of three plus a dog! We enjoyed the view during the day and star gazing at night. It is a clean and well kept cabin. The AC was working perfectly! A lot places to visit and hike around it. We will definitely go back again!

Old fishing/hunters cabin

I stayed here During Christmas eve and Christmas day the living does show a nice home on hill top It doesn't show the Red signs on the driveway not welcoming vacationers in the neighborhood. The cabin is old and dirty carpets didn't want to step without my shoes off and the downstairs is cold and smells like meldew. Their was no way my grandkids were going to sleep downstairs. The heaters kept tripping the breakers it was a very cold 🥶 weekend. If you don't mind an old dirty hunters cabin then this place is for you other wise I don't recommend staying here it was a rip off and I feel like I got robbed.

Beautiful view. Perfect for a break away from reality.

From booking to checking out and anything between the hosts are wonderful and communication is excellent. Drove my Nissan altima and had no issues getting to the location. The view is beautiful from every direction and the cabin has everything you need. Wifi, movies, games. Kitchen was perfect and the view by the sink never gets old. Second time staying with this host and will not be the last. Enjoyed the gracious hospitality and lovely cabin. Lake is do close and getting into town is easy. Look forward to the next trip. Thank you both very much!!

Has potential to be better!

5 stars for the communication with the owner! 3.25 stars for the overall home. Pros: – The VIEW! The lake shows right off the balcony and it's beautiful, we saw a rainbow the whole time right above the lake. – The location is awesome. – Communication with the owner was simple and easy, he was prompt and very responsive. – The upstairs is really cute and the layout is nice. Cons: – The tap water smells like a septic tank. Literally, none of our guests ( we stayed 4 days ) showered the whole time. Because the water smelled so disgusting!! We didn't even want to brush our teeth with that water because who knows what's in it... – The driveway is not built for a regular car as it is gravel and bumpy. Really recommend coming up with an SUV or offroad vehicle. – The bottom "bedroom" is more like a dungeon, as it is freezing cold, and it's likely a converted basement. They put 4 beds in there and it seemed like a low-budget hostel. We actually joked around calling it the mental asylum because there were padded walls (very interesting) assuming it was for insulation. – No central heat/AC. We had to use space heaters ESPECIALLY in the dungeon. We plugged in all the space heaters and the power went out in half the house, we had to get out in the freezing cold at night to find the breaker for the house. – No water filters in the fridge -- needs replacement. – The dryer and washers seemed to be just thrown in the laundry room and the dryer was not attached to the duct, which resulted in it blowing air throwout the room. – Some of the dining room chairs are broken which can be dangerous. – The place is by no means luxurious, it seems to have a lot of work that needs to be done.
