The living area features a queen-size pull-out sofa, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, along with a flat-screen smart TV for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows. The tasteful décor and cozy atmosphere set the tone for a peaceful and restful stay.

The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, whether you're whipping up a quick breakfast before heading out or enjoying a home-cooked dinner. You'll find an induction cooktop, air fryer, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, along with all the cookware and utensils you need.

The bedroom hosts a queen bed dressed with soft linens and fluffy pillows to ensure a good night’s sleep. It’s the perfect spot to recharge after a day of hiking, swimming, or exploring the local wineries. Adjacent to the bedroom is a modern, private bathroom complete with a walk-in shower, fresh towels, and complimentary shampoo and conditioner.

Cowichan Lake Riverside is a small, family run riverside motel located directly on the Cowichan River in Lake Cowichan, British Columbia. The property offers a peaceful setting with the convenience of being just steps from downtown shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, and parks.

Guests enjoy comfortable, well maintained suites and studios, each with a kitchenette for light meals. Three units feature river views, and all guests have shared access to the outdoor amenities, including a riverside dock for swimming and relaxing, a BBQ area, and a covered fire pit. The setting is ideal for couples, solo travelers, and guests looking for a quiet, walkable base to explore the Cowichan Valley.

Popular activities nearby include river swimming, kayaking, fishing, walking trails, lake access, and local dining. Everything in town is easily accessible on foot, while the surrounding area offers endless opportunities to enjoy nature.

To maintain a safe and respectful environment for all guests, we have a few standard requirements. All guests must complete a brief identity verification on the day of check in, which may include uploading a government issued photo ID through our secure system prior to receiving self check in instructions. This is a common practice for professionally managed accommodations in Canada.

We also place a 500 CAD pre authorization security hold on the guest credit card 24 to 48 hours prior to check in. This is not a charge and no funds are withdrawn. The hold is automatically released within seven days after check out, provided there are no issues.
