Our family of four had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui. The resort is beautiful, and the kids really enjoyed seeing the penguins and flamingos right in the lobby. The pool area was a definite highlight for us, with the waterfalls and grotto providing plenty of entertainment for the children. The location is perfect for families, as being right on the Ka’anapali beach walk makes it easy to get to the water or walk over to Whalers Village. The grounds are very well-maintained and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our trip. This was a beautiful stay. The birds seem well cared for with happy lives, the landscaping is pretty, the art collection is beautiful and interesting, the building is wonderful, the rooms are grand, the breakfast is fantastic, the views are breathtaking, the staff are wonderful, and we would definitely all stay here again.

A very nice resort overall. Loved that you could walk to other resorts and the long sandy beach. Not impressed with breakfast (powdered eggs) and the main restaurant service was slow.
