Farmhouse for 6 people with heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna south of France

Farmhouse completely renovated in 2019, air-conditioned, with large heated infinity pool (April to October) measuring 10 x 4 m x 1.5 m, jacuzzi, sauna, table football, table tennis, exercise bike, pétanque court and exceptional views of the village with its listed castle and the Cévennes mountains. In southern Ardèche, magnificent single-storey villa located 15 minutes from Vallon Pont d'Arc, Chauvet Cave 2 - Ardèche, canoeing and all tourist and leisure activities. This completely independent house is not overlooked and is located in an oak forest. Our swimming pool is heated free of charge by our solar panels. It can also be heated, as an option, by EDF (billed at actual cost by a specific meter), depending on the desired temperature. A haven of freedom and tranquillity, unspoilt natural surroundings, magnificent panoramic view of the medieval village of Labastide de Virac and its castle, a listed historical monument. 2.5 hectares of wooded grounds with a large Mediterranean garden on terraces. Large living room with fully equipped kitchen area, large lounge, 1 master bedroom with a queen-size bed, 2 shower rooms and 2 WCs, 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 wellness room. 2 terraces. Very close (800 metres as the crow flies) to the Ardèche Gorges and 100 metres from the Ardèche Gorges Nature Reserve.
Numerous walks, hikes and mountain bike trails starting from the house. Many other activities such as horse riding, tree climbing, canyoning, remarkable caves, canoeing, caving, via ferrata, etc. within a radius of just a few kilometres.

Fantastic house and view

Very nice house and pool. Everything was as we expected and very functional. We had a 2,5 year grandchild and Alain ( the host) was very helpful and we got baby bed and potty etc. The view was amazing and very calm full we went tours: kayak- cave - the little nearby castle. Very hard to leave the house and the beautiful area.

Le domaine du Mas de la Fontenette, niché dans une chênaie, avec son magnifique jardin méditerranéen et ses vues imprenables sur le village, le château et les Cévennes, nous a laissés sans voix. Le chant des divers oiseaux, la nature en pleine floraison et l'air pur et vivifiant nous ont enchantés. Nous nous sommes sentis parfaitement à l'aise dans la maison meublée avec goût et fonctionnalité. Avec son spa et sa piscine, ce refuge exceptionnel s'est révélé un véritable havre de paix. Le propriétaire, attentionné et chaleureux, nous a réservé un accueil des plus agréables. Discret et serviable, il a veillé à ce que notre séjour soit parfait. Nous avons pu nous ressourcer pleinement durant cette semaine d'avril. Ce furent les plus belles vacances que nous ayons jamais vécues. Nous remercions sincèrement Alain d'avoir créé ce paradis et de nous avoir permis d'en profiter. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu unique.

Das war ein perfekter Urlaub, wunderschön gelegenes Haus mit Aussicht auf Labastide de Virac.Pool perfekt ,Ferienwohnung auch, es fehlt an nichts. Tolle Ausflugmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung, Kanu, Lavendelmuseum, Vallon Pont Arc....Alain, der Gasgeber hat uns viele Tips gegeben, was man unternehmen kann, war immer verfügbar, wenn man ihn gebraucht hat, ein solch freunlicher Mann habe ich noch in keinem Urlaub erlebt, und ich habe einige Urlaube schon gemacht.Ich genoss die 10 Tage und würde jederzeit Mas La Fontenette weiterempfehlen und wiederkommen.Hier war ich nicht zum letzten malEin Urlaub, 10 von 10 Punkten

Tolles Haus und toller Gastgeber

Das Ferienhaus hat alle Annehmlichkeiten und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Empfang und Check-in war unkompliziert, sehr freundlich und ließ keine Fragen offen. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, die Betten sind sehr bequem, man hat eine große Auswahl an Büchern und DVDs, das Internet ist schnell. Outdoor-Fans haben hier alles, man kann direkt vom Haus aus wandern. Ein herrlicher Ort!
