Good hotel in the centre of france

A good place to stay, an excellent location near to Poitiers. Nice surroundings. The staff were very helpful as we arrived late everything was ready for an unattended check in. A bit more clarity regarding parking and the lift would have been useful. The apartment was clean and user friendly, as regular travellers we will look for this one when we go again.

Nice stay in La Roche Posay.

Very spacious studio for 3 persons. Mint clean. Moreover there is a private swimming pool. I could only stay one night but I would definitly choose this place for a longer stay.

Be careful

Overall this venue is ok, however niggles spoil occasions. I very specifically booked a non-smoking double room. We were given a twin sofa bed and I’m sure smoking has occurred (in fairness to the venue, smoking is not permitted in rooms). I would not have booked the venue if I’d known the available sleeping arrangements. Reception couldn’t/wouldn’t help with a room change. It was too late in the day to go anywhere else. Lift was broken (3rd floor) only one pillowcase, by the time we knew reception was closed. Nice town with a lovely river walk. Overall a disappointment.

Plenty of room

We arrived to find the reception closed,with codes,etc,to be reckoned with.A phone call sorted things out,but it was not a plus to have nobody there.They are closed on Sunday afternoon and all day Monday.So,arriving late Sunday and leaving Monday,we encountered nobodyHaving said that,the little apartment was just fine.It was spacious,with a good kitchen.A nice little town.We found a good meal at a nearby hotel.

Friendly and helpful reception

The hotel telephoned prior to our stay, and gave us the code required for entry.We had a minor problem with the booking company, who had reserved us a studio, instead of an apartment.The kind lady on reception immediately sorted the problem ,and upgraded us. Th accomodation was clean and good value for money.It is also well positioned re; the town, and you can walk it in 5-7 minutes. One word of advice.Take your bath/shower prior to 7pm.If you both want baths the water DOES go tepid after this time.

Nice hotel even though rooms are very small

My complaint is with Expedia who told me several "stories" when I made my reservations back in March 11. Also, my credit card was charged by Expedia as soon as I made my reservations, but the hotel had not been paid when I checked in May 10th. I now have to figure out what is going on and have hesistations about making reservations through Expedia again.

Double size bed extremely uncomfortable. Uncomfortable couch which served as single sofa bed. No chair in "living area" other than kitchen table chairs. Convenient 10 mn walk to town as expected. Personel friendly.

Séjour très appréciable pour 1 nuit. Cependant la piscine manque de transat, seulement 10. Et la salle de bain montre de la fatigue au niveau des joints qui sont noir. Le reste de l'hébergement est très bien, spacieux, confortable et bien équipé.

Bonjour, je suis arrivé à 23h, je rentre dans un Appart hôtel ou lit est censé être fait c’est à moi de mettre tes draps. Je ne pense pas que c’était marqué sur la réservation et il y avait un petit coin salon avec table des chaises, les chaises carrément sur la table inacceptable pour cet Hotel aussi bien noté donc très déçu en plus pas de produit pour se laver le corps.

Très bel endroit, appart hôtel avec prestations de qualité, juste à côté des cités thermales de la roche posay. En revanche la ville est presque vide, on dirait une ville fantôme. Apparement elle fait fasse à une crise économique. Pour les amoureux du calme c’est l’idéal.
