Paradise above the Seine

This is our 2nd visit to Lucille’s paradise. It is a lovely, peaceful spot with mesmerizing views of the Seine, where boats travel up and down the river. We spent most of our time on the back grassy lawn, watching the river and reading our books. The house is lovely and very interesting. It has all the comforts of modern living but the house has maintained the very old and large beams in the ceiling and the very old and ornate wood doors. The kitchen is very well supplied and the beds are very comfortable. Saverine is very easy to communicate with and responds quickly. I hope we can come back again.

Lucile’s Paradise is truly a paradise.

Beautiful house and grounds with stunning views and very interesting history. The host is so helpful and generous!!!! The town is charming and the visit was delightful !!

What an amzing view on the Seine river alongside Rommel's Command headquarters

Large and beautiful home - well-located. Well-equipped. Very responsive host and neighbor. Our stay was farr too short. Highly recommend this home. Thank you - would love to visit again

Delightful French house above La Roche Guyon

From the moment you arrive at this beautiful home above La Roche Guyon you are stunned with the beautiful vista, looking out over the River Seine. The grass terrace in the back of the house is ideal for sitting in Adirondack chairs and enjoying the peaceful quiet setting. The house is so comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and 4 lovely bedrooms. We were so impressed with the architecture of the house. The thick wooden doors with massive iron hinges and carved wood front and back. The massive wooden beams were just amazing. The house is very within 5-8 minutes of Gasny for groceries. The Monet gardens are only 10-15 minutes away. Be prepared for lots of people at Monet gardens. We loved visiting the Château La Roche Guyon. Be sure to climb to the top of the tower for great views. We highly recommend this house and hope to return.

Que dire de plus!! Effectivement,le paradis est bien le terme le plus approprié pour définir cet endroit magique!! La vue est splendide,le jardin magnifique et la décoration de très bon goût!! Les propriétaires nous ont rendus le séjour encore plus appréciable avec plusieurs attentions toujours les bienvenues! Bref,foncez! Vous ne serez pas déçus! PLEIN LA VUE!!!

On ne pensait jamais trouver un tel endroit à une heure de Paris!!! Une heure! De la part d'une dizaine de personnes qui vivent sur Paris depuis près de 20 ans...Maison singulière par son bâti, bonne distribution des pièces (un second cabinet serait néanmoins optimal!), gros confort, équipement abondant (le placard épicerie est à votre dispo, ce qui permet d'arriver plus léger, grosse base de courses déjà fournie), touche déco très raffinée...sans même parler des extérieurs qui bonifient la note finale. Terrasse en restanque, arborée, avec accès à volonté au jardin (carottes, courgettes, radis, tomates, salades etc) et au potager (nombre incalculable d'herbes aromatiques, y a même du "basilic noir"!!!) de Séverine, la gentille organisatrice qui fait office de propriétaire...là aussi, on ne lésine pas sur le matériel, vue exceptionnelle sur le village coiffé par son donjon du XIIème, au bord d'une grosse boucle de Seine..c'est champêtre, c'est calme...bref - on domine en en prenant plein la vue..
