The front desk staff was very friendly and willing to help. We were welcomed with a refreshing fruit drink spiked with rum per our request. We were driven to our room on a golf cart and on the day of departure both times helping with our luggage. It was especially considerate since my friend has a back injury and we were on the 3rd floor. There was full breakfast included. The overall experience was wonderful.

Great location, close to Arenal sites and La Fortuna. Enjoyed the hot springs. The on-site restaurant was very good, but not great. Food was not all hot when served. Breakfast was very good. Staff was excellent and very attentive. It's so often wet there that we wish there was a door mat or towel provided inside the doorway to prevent getting water on the tile which can be slippery. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was impeccable. I loved the multiple thermal pool option and cold plunge. They even had an infinity pool towards the back of the resort. I loved that they provided an umbrella being that its a rainforest and who would think to pack an umbrella on vacation??? They gave us a complimentary wine bottle which was a nice touch, although my husband and I do not drink wine. We chose the room with the volcano view. It was the perfect spot to catch the volcano when its sunny or partly cloudy. I miss the hotel already. We had breakfast included in our stay. Breakfast options and taste were great.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Paradise Hot Springs hotel. Great location for all of the activities we did (hanging bridges, whitewater rafting and zip lining). A short (and cheap) uber to town if you want to go out to dinner ‘off campus.’ The staff was amazing, especially Andre, and very accommodating (I.e., arranged for boxes breakfasts for early morning adventure). Main restaurant is pretty good and also always have a buffet option (around $24). Hot spring pools were great after daily activities as was swim up bar which also offers decent food options. The hotel offers day passes for non-hotel guests but there is one pool and restaurant for guests only. Was foggy but decent view of volcano and had cows and horses in our ‘backyard.’ Property and rooms are very clean. Highly recommend!

The hotel allows day passes so the pools are filled with non hotel guests and by the end of the day the pools are gross as people eat while in the thermal pools! Kids with diapers, kleenix in the water…and the food is less than subpar.

Breakfast was great, especially the first day as they made delicious French toast. The waffles were good them second day but not great, needed some peanut butter available for toast, French toast, and waffles. The coffee in the cafe bar was top notch but unfortunately not available in the morning. The in room coffee was decent but the coffee at the breakfast was not great. It would be worth bringing your own coffee grounds to the room. Service at restaurant and checkin were excellent. The hot springs were fantastic and well used. Very good fitness room and great massage staff
