Our villas are located approximately 40 minutes from downtown La Fortuna, in a more secluded area—perfect for those looking to enjoy an authentic experience surrounded by nature and tranquility.

The total drive from town is about 15 km (9 miles), and the last 7 km (4.3 miles) are on a rural gravel road. This part of the journey is truly part of the adventure: lush green landscapes, fresh air, and the feeling of leaving the noise behind as you approach something special.

We recommend a high-clearance vehicle, SUV, or 4x4, especially during the rainy season, for a more comfortable drive.

The stay was great if your looking for short term and privacy away from tourism. Getting there you will need a 4WD or all terrain vehicle. The roads are rocky and bumpy. This is definitely a place for a great view of the volcano. The suite was cute and intimate. Worth the price for a night or two away from the busier areas.

The views! It was absolutely stunning here. The location was really far out from things, about 30 mins or more to get places. But waking up with the view of the volcano and the noises of animals around us were amazing. The bed was super comfortable and the place was perfect for what we needed while we were there.

Great experience. The view is gorgeous, and the amenities like hot water, wifi and a mini fridge are convenient, while still providing the feeling of remote bliss. I have deducted a star because getting in and out of here is challenging. The road is long and arduous -- Not well-suited to those without a 4WD vehicle.Host was responsive and polite; would recommend overall.
