Good wifi, ok breakfast

This is my first time checking in to a hostel as we only needed a place to sleep for one night, before moving off to the next itinerary in KL. First impression - Pretty interior! The dorm room we’re given seems decent, and the bathroom attached to it is good enough for a proper shower. Wifi was good and I managed to post a couple social media content. We headed out to club and got back to the hostel at about 3.30am and that’s when it starts to go downhill. After showering, I popped on to bed and decided to play with my phone for a bit. I felt bits of movement on my legs and back and to my utter shock, there were BED BUGS! Baby ones, adult ones...on the bed! I told the staff on duty about this and fortunately he suggested that I sleep in the lounge. It was okay. There were no bed bugs. Will I stay here again? I would, if they could look into their bed situation. I stayed in room 301 by the way.

Illegal activity in the hostel and they agreed

It was awful. My booking was "grouped" with other guests against my will. The hostel did not receive my booking through hotels.com and instead, got a booking through expedia. They made many copies of the female 6-bed dorm I slept in, claiming it was just in case someone lost their copy (lie). Some guests (I can only guess it was the ones who forced me to book with them without even asking me and whom I don't even know) kept me up all night for 3 of the 5 nights I stayed there. They expected me to spend my nights up with them without caring that I only wanted to sleep at night. They went as far as to use a strange machine that created an energy field (like an EMF) to stop me from sleeping, which is completely illegal!!! Men entered the room at night (this is a women's dorm) and more than one forced himself on me because I found man-stuff in my privates. Someone went through my personal belongings, threw my clean clothes on the dirty ground while they were drying (and only mine - no one else's were on the ground), went through my food, and stole my passport. So basically, had it not been for this group of illegal people who tried to force me to spend time with them and whom I didn't even know, this may have been a nice stay. What worries me is that the hostel agreed, because they let these people make copies of the key.

The place is very clean and has a home-y vibe. We had a hard time looking for the place even though we hired a taxi to get there. The taxi driver was rude that she dropped us off on the street with our heavy luggage, not knowing where to go. Luckily, someone at a nearby 711 store was kind enough to help us. He called his friend, a revopackers staff, and we were picked up personally at the store!

Overall not a bad hostel and it was cheap. It is not far from Chinatown or the shopping distric but it is not in these neighbourhoods either, sort of a odd location, big roads and viaducts around, close to public transport though. The room is clean and the bed comfortable but lockers are small so your big bag will have to be on the floor. Breakfast is a joke, white toast and instant coffee. Staff was helpful.

convenient Female dorm with bathroom inside

I liked all their rooms have attached bathroom so make guest have their privacy. Just want give idea about staff while guide guest to their room, especially female dorm, better knock the door first before introduce which one is her bed, because sometimes maybe some of female guest changing clothes inside room not at bathroom or maybe still sleeping with limited dress, and suddenly male staff go inside room without any sign from outside room. My idea is not mean that your staff not polite, all of your staff is friendly, I just a little bit shocked while introduced my bed, without knock the door and directly go inside

Great hostel in great neighbourhood

My friends and I booked a private (family) room which could house up to 5 persons. The room had 2 sets of bunk beds, and for one of these sets, the bottom bed was a queen. The room was very clean, though the mattresses on the beds, and the blankets provided, were a little thin. The AC worked perfectly, which was much appreciated given the very hot weather when we were there. Bathroom was simple, hot water was available at all times of the day. The biggest plus for me was that the wifi speed was amazing. The hostel is also located in the Bukit Bintang neighbourhood and near lots of local eateries, pubs etc. Also near the Imbi LRT station, and the Berjaya Times Square mall. The staff who served us were also friendly. In fact, my friends and I arrived on a very early bus, and we arrived at the hostel before 5am, but the man at the counter was kind enough to let us rest in the common entertainment room/lounge which had sofas, a big TV, DVD player (with some DVDs provided by the hostel) and a bathroom. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!
