We loved the remote location of the adorable bungalow. However it was tricky to find up the hill about a 20- 30 minute walk from the main area/beach as there is no sinage so it really was a secret bungalow. The bungalow did have a leak and some bugs. Despite this it was a cozy stay. Many dogs and chickens in the neighborhood will great you and you will feel like you are staying in a majestic untouched area.

Htoo the manager was Awesome. Great welcome and superb service. WiFi was best I’ve experienced. Anything you needed, Htoo would provide or help get for you.

Has gone downhill

I had previously stayed here 2 years ago and everything seemed in order. This time was the complete opposite. It may seem close to Sairee Beach but the path is now not accessable for scooters and you can not walk it once it gets dark out. To get to the beach or bars at night you have to take the long way around. The room was the same type I booked before but this time it came with heavy mildew and mold smells. The bathroom door had to be shut the whole time I was there due to the smells. You wake up completely congested. The porch has an ant colony in/on it and the boards were not properly nailed down. If you stepped on the wrong one the opposite end would shift and pop up. I have travelled a lot in Thailand and have dealt with poor maintenance but this however was not acceptable. The overwhelming discomfort of the bungalow made me book a new hotel after the first night (I had 5 nights booked). I suggest not booking here even if my bungalow was a one off situation. I wouldn't roll the dice.

Nice quiet hotel, 10-15 minute walk to the action/

Nice quiet hotel/bungalow which is a 10-20 minutes walk from town and the beach. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Selection of coffee and tea in the room along side a mini fridge and kettle. Ac was strong in the room and quite loud at night. Staff is friendly. Checking in is 11am, checkout 10am. If you are traveling by foot I think there are other places to stay that are comparable, ideally if you stay here, you should have a moto. If I can exchange back to Koh Tao I'd be looking elsewhere.

The cabins are very nice and clean. It has a nice garden in front. Wifi is good. Bathrooms are basic. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to town and beach over gravel roads and there is nothing close by.

Wonderful experience!

The place is really nice, very comfortable and well maintained bungalows. Very welcoming and their manager, Htoo, really amazing..if you read this Htoo, you rock man, keep it up!! The only bit of down size is not on the beach but shouldn't be a surprise as it is described in the general description.

Perfect Bungalow for a Couple

This place was perfect! Close to the main area but also far enough way to feel secluded. Highly reccomend for couples. A bit of a dark walk home but Koh Tao is safe so I was never worried. The bed, deck, AC and bathrook were all so clean and great. Would highly reccomend staying here!

Amazing manager always willing to help us with whatever we needed. An easy 10-15 minute walk to town depending on if you took to the coconut grove or the street.

Amazing little getaway

Lovely manager always willing to help us out to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Even when the power did go out (as it does on the island) the generator worked hard to get everything back online within a half hour. It was only a 10 minute walk through the coconut groves to get into town for my dive course which was great. Even if it was too dark at night, only a 15 minute walk via the main roads, and each room came equipped with a flashlight for you to have on you. Definitely recommend this little hideaway.

great little place!

I stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely return! Friendly staff and cute little place!! Only bad thing was it was abit out of the way, I had to hire a scooter to get back to the main town road , it would of been about a 20 minute walk other wise. The owner recommended a great scooter shop and they picked me up and took me to the shop. Room was cleaned when I asked (you have to tell them a time to come and clean) good wifi and a good little bungalow! Movie channels in all languages and the manager there was very helpful with everything!

Great Hostel!!

The owner was great he let us use his snorkels and motor bike for a really cheap price. It's super laid back and a little hard to find. You'll turn right off the main street and then take a left off of the secondary street there is a resort area where you turn left. Then follow that road a little ways and at your first left take the left there was a blue building at that turn. Follow the road all the way to the end it becomes gravelly. Take a left over a bridge (this is past where google maps says the address is ) You'll continue walking and see a sign for a hostel. Go to the hostel and ask for Tu. He'll take you to the villa its right behind the hostel. Super nice place to stay!! There is also this cheap dinner place up the road on the street with the resort. It's right across from the Health gym. I highly recommend it!

Quiet place amongst the palm trees

Located a short walk through a palm tree forest from Sairee beach, the bungalows were a perfect place to stay away from the crowd but close enough to still be involved. The beautiful garden made you feel like you were living isolated in a tropical garden. Aircon and fan kept the room very cool. Sairee village is less than a 15 minute walk away and you can also order authentic Italian pizza delivered to your bungalow. Staff were excellent and very friendly/ helpful regarding any of your needs. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Tucked away but still in a great location! Very awesome host that helps you with anything you need ( bike rental,island information, ferry booking, etc). Clean, strong A/C unites and nice porch. Loved staying here!

Cozy, quiet rooms, close to the action

The rooms were super cozy and private. Very close to the beach, maybe 5-7 minutes on foot. Also its located right in Sairee, so you're super close to tons of food, activities..etc. But the cottages are tucked away down a dirt road so its very quiet. Aside from the roosters haha. The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, i would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

stayed here recently for four nights. the location is quite out the way and requires a 5-10 minute walk through jungley area which i found particulary daunting and scary at night as it is pitch black and you can hear all the animals - be aware of this. this put me off staying again. The guy who owns the place is increadible and would do anything for you and he makes this place good. nicest guy you could meet. the rooms were a good size and confortable. However the shower was over the toilet and therefore gets the toilet wet when you use. Also our bathroom door did not close properly and during our stay our room wasn't cleaned. However, had we asked the owner to clean it he definatly would have.
